Question - Anyone want to do a picture for the 2009 Nationals Calendar Solli4me is doing? There are a couple of cool tree carvings in Starved Rock...I have one in particular in mind if we can park in front of it. We need Cowboy type gear or attire...hats, bandanas, boots...anyone have anything that would work?

I could probably make a sign at work...

Remember -- If you'd like:
For those going to Starved Rock the 7th...

Get to TheTinley Convention Center (Holiday Inn) at I80 and Harlem. I recommend coming in at the 183rd street entrance (Main) and you'll drive right at the parking lot-- If I get there first I drive so I am visible to anyone coming in (Raise the YELLOW hood usually does it)
So we need to leave 9:30-10Am from that spot to make it to Morris in time

I will hang til 10Am -- but Anyone who is planning please try to let me know.... If no one is coming I will go direct from my house.

Well, my Sunni1 is not a whimp, so rain or shine for Saturday!
However, the roads I plan to run are affected by high water - so we may not take all/some of them. It is still a nice ride.... Just not as quick as I80... (Boring)

How much rain though would be enough to call this thing off?? I mean we would drive a LOT slower and more careful. Most of the day is outdoors (even the food ) .... What do ya think???

So far just threat of thunder showers, so nothing HUGE. Stay tuned here??

About the only weather that would stop me entirely would be HAIL... If I see severe threats -- I may pull the plug.
Again those meeting me at the Holiday Inn Tinley Park Convention Center parking lot -- I will be gone by 10AM!.....
