Wheels and Wings - September 6th

28th Annual Wheels & Wings- Saturday, September 6, 8 a.m. – 5 p.m. Osceola, Wisconsin

NSSC and any one that wants to come. We should caravan over to Osceola together.
I would like to get there early and maybe put the car in the car show.

I was going to post this but Skyflip is on top of things. I am on call that Saturday but looking for someone to take my shift so I am planning to make it . And early too like Skyflip said. Last year I was the only Sky in over a thousand cars.

I suggest we meet up north (Target in Lino Lakes again) at about 0700, Thats is AM. I know it is early, but if we leave at 0730 we should get to Osceola by 0815 or so.

Thanks for adding the pics! I've not been to this show. I will put it on my calendar, but I am SOOOO NOT a morning person! I'll do my best to get there. I'm sure it will be fun!

I have not been on-line for awhile and for that I apologize. I thought I would post a description of last years experience at W&W to give people an idea of what to expect.

Wheels and Wings is a community wide event for the village of Osceola, Wisconsin and I do mean a community wide event. In the main area of the village they have an Arts and crafts fair. At the airport is a fly-in event and in the industrial park area a car show. I am sure there are other events but these are the highlights. Please refer to the brochure referenced in other parts of this thread for official information, and remember my description is based on last years event. The fly-in had a number of interesting aircraft and some great demonstrations They had biplane rides last year (for a fee). The car show had just about every kind of vehicle you can imagine and over 1000 of them. We did not get to the arts and crafts fair last year but it looked busy. As Littlehawk said it was alot of fun and some great cars, planes, etc.

We (Littlehawk and I) are still planning to be at the Target in Lino Lake at 0700 9/6/08 to get to Osceola at 0830 or so and get registered at the car show. Please let me know if you will be meeting up there so we don't leave someone behind.

BTW, Cameras are a must. (See Littlehawk's pictures from last year.) Feel free to post or PM me if there are any questions and I will try to answer them.
