Wisconsin Dells Trip - Sep 25-28 !

Hi all!
Keith & I went on the Dells trip last year hosted by WiSols and had a great time. We'll be there again this year. I just wanted to post a quick note here to let you all know that the event information (incl. hotel & registration form) is available as stickies in the WiSols subforum on the Solstice Forum site (WISols - Pontiac Solstice Forum).

Check it out; I'm certain that it will be a wonderful time!

I truly appreciate you trying to garner some attendance-the lack of response to this thread on this forum is EXACTLY what I had to explain on the Sol side today, or was it last night? Don't remember, doesn't matter. This is precisely why I don't come over here anymore to post our events.

Hi guys! Hopefully everyone who is interested has had a chance to check out the posts related to the Dells event being planned by the WiSols group on SolsticeForum.com. I’m not sure if anyone still wants or needs it now, but since there are a lot of posts over there, I had worked on this post last night to try to summarize the main points, as I’ve been able to keep up with them…

If there's anyone from the Chicagoland area who wants to consider caravaning, send me a pm or post here and we'll figure it out.

Just a couple of disclaimers…
1. I am not a planner for this event; I just don’t want to be the only Sky there!

Last year, there were a very good number of Sky’s in attendance.
2. I have simply cut/pasted the basics from SolsticeForum.com, and have included the links to the posts. Please visit them to be sure you have all the information you need.

When: Sep 25-28
Where: Wisconsin Dells
The headquarters hotel/lodging is the Baker’s Sunset Bay Resort (Sunset Bay Resort Welcome To Sunset Bay Resort in Wisconsin Dells!)

Registration form (must be postmarked by Aug 15)

Fees: $10/car for the event only or $30/person for event AND Sat night BBQ at Bakers if postmarked by 8/15. After 8/15, and for a short time, they will still take registrations, however the fees will go up.

Event Schedule (taken from Registration form PDF):
Thu – arrival day
Fri – Free day, some fun activities may be planned
Sat – A Scenic cruise over the back roads, with twisties, photo stops, etc.
Sun – departure day; Danny’s 90-94 Grill for breakfast; perhaps an optional cruise for those interested.

You won't be the only one! V8 Sky is coming from China/Michigan, and the white Sky is joining us for the run only on Saturday (if it doesn't rain...no rain, no rain!)

Where is everybody??

We had at least 15 Skys last year for the Dells out of almost 60. The Sky's need representation!!! It was a great run for all.

Yep, we had Roadie Rob's almost entire run group of Sky's, I had a Sky in my group, and a great time was had by all!

This is one of those runs that manages to never fit into my schedual

... I'd love to go -- love the Dells area my Mom & Dad lived in Mauston -- we'd visit the Dells 2-3 times a year with our kids... Even then I loved driving through the area...

Well, I guess I'll be representin' the MN Skys and NSSC in the Dells. Hopefully I'll see SunFun there too. Sorry I'll miss the other run here. Hope y'all have an awesome weekend and great weather to boot!
I'm taking my chihuahuas on this run! It will be their first official run. I bought them little seatbelts today We'll see how it goes!

We (I took the dogs too) made it home from the fun long weekend in the Dells.

I'm working on uploading my pictures... I only have 350! I'll pull some favs to post right away.

I've got my reservations made for next year! It will be the last weekend in September again. I know it will be great!! It was so nice to meet everyone. This was a great addition to my fun summer with the Sky & Solstice clubs. Rob has inspired me to search for more of those really twisty curvacious roads for our fun little local runs here in MN with the NSSC.

I hope more of the NSSC will join me next year! I think I've found us a new member for NSSC too! MeanSol.... We'll see if he gets to the posts online and the next runs.

I've also worked on some talented multi-tasking skills. Who knew I could hold two dogs in my lap, drive twisties and take pictures all at the same time!

Hope everyone makes it home safe and sound.

Special thanks to Shelly for posting the event on the Sky forum!

I'll be posting some pics soon.
