11th Annual Car Show (Castro Valley, near Oakland, Saturday July 11, 2009 9:00 AM)
The 11 Annual Car show held by Redwood Chapel in Castro Valley.
This was the second year WCKCC attended this show. Road-Runner placed third behind a solstice and a Shelby Mustang for class E open 1991 to 2008. This was a lot of fun.. Would like to get a group together for the day and a run, will post details later..
Please post here if you wish to join us...Gary

Date: July 11
Location: Castro Valley CA - Redwood Chapel on Redwood Road
Time 9am - 2pm
Most importantly - there is NO CHARGE to those of us participating and they feed us lunch too!!!
If you decide to participate Rudy, over on the Solstice side usually makes a group reservation so we can all park together. Please post your name and car make and I'll give Rudy a call and let him know that we've started a thread here.
Safe Travels...

Should have known Gary that you'd have the info somewhere
Oh well - I'll represent all of the over "_0" crowd - and you know who you are - the ones who didn't GROW up with computers and are now having to learn how to twitter, use facebook, iphones, ipods, imacs, pc's etc.!
See you at the car show

I realize that the Nationals are on everyones mind right now and that this car show is a little over a month away but I was wondering if anyone from WCKCC has signed up? If so who's going?

Please let me know how many would like to attend this car show...
This is free if you register your car. (one person) and $ 6.00 for a guest does include BBQ lunch. I will call Jon Drury and include all the cars that sigh up here... or you can call him @ 510-886-6300 x212 (please let me know you did sigh up yourself.)
If we get enough cars to attend would like to meet for breakfast in Castro Valley and a short run after..
Thank Gary.

SGS (Silly Grin Syndrome) still has me in it's grip and I don't want to be let go!
Universal Law of Location:No matter where you go, there you are.
The Castro Valley car show was a blast. The featured car for the event was Ford Mustangs. Lots of GT and special editions Shelby. Saw Rich with his Solaces and a local residence with a Sky. Karen I had a great time with the live music and talking with the locals and some car clubs. We did win some door prizes and Kryptonite placed second, one up from Road-Runner. May be next year.
Bill you would have loved this Plymouth..
