Beaches Weekly CruiseIn @ Portland PIR / Wednesdays

We want to know if anyone in the Pacific Northwest is interested in attending this event.

It is held every Wednesday Night from June through September.
It is held at Portland International Raceway.
Official start is about 5pm but gates open around 4pm & it runs until 7 or 8pm.
It is $5 per car which covers the cost of using PIR while raising money for local kids in need.

The Cruise-In started at Beaches restaurant in 1995 with a few cars at the restaurant, then moved to the Air Museum at Pearson Airpark, and now has grown so large that it has been moved to Portland International Raceway & is one of the biggest weekly cruise-ins on the west coast.

There is also Drag Racing, Live Music, food & beverages.
This is NOT a driving event.
You park, you hang out, look at cars and such.

Having been there I can say it is a good time and a great place for us to hang out on occasion.
Some of us with Kappa's are planning on being there on June 4th, 2008.
