After much thought, wearing myself out over the last week, and finding out my travel pay has been delayed I have decided that it would just not ba a smart move for us to make this run.
That being said, I just wanted to take a quick opportunity to say that it has been more than a pleasure meeting everyone and being able to share the joy and adventures these little beauties have taken us on adn being a part of an outstanding organization we call the WCKCC. God speed and stay safe.
We'll see you on the forums and at future National events.
Thomas, Crystal and Michael

Gunny, Sorry to here that you and Crystal won't be able to make the run this weekend. You will be missed. I fully understand the rigors of a PCS. But once you get setteled in you new place it will be forgotten until the next time. Hope to run into you again somewhere down the line.

Gunny, Patricia and I never had a chance to meet your family and we knew you only a brief time. But from what we observed on that fateful day after the accident...well let's just say we have a whole lot of respect for who you are. The WCKCC seemed to have a lot of outstanding member's that day. Our Club's loss is another Club's gain! Goodbye, good fortune and be safe.
Hi All, Okay so Mary and I did a Pre-Run today (while Ed worked ) I met with the Manager of the Restaurant and have that all figured out. Also found out that there are not a lot of places to pull over between Sutter Creek and Placerville, we can do one of two things after we get to Placerville, we can pull into a bank parking lot if anyone would like to walk around Placerville or we could continue up Hwy 49 to the town of Coloma and the Marshall Gold Discovery park (which is only 7 short twisty miles away) So we can decide at lunch. Looking forward to seeing you all tomorrow in my own backyard. Give me a call when you are passing through the huge town of Burson and I will give you all a personal escort to Mokelumne Hill since we live in the next little town (Valley Springs) Cya all tomorrow. Barb

Honk if you go through Cameron Park. Carl will be glad to hear that you are in his neighborhood and my former neighborhood. Sorry I couldn't make it down for this one. Hope you all have a great time.
Bill

WOW what a great run we had today, great friends and greats eats. The weather was perfect. Thanks to everyone who made it. I know you die hard Thunder fans had to leave after Coloma but you miss so good ice cream at Fosters in Auburn. Hope your team was victorious tonight. Just a few shots for those who couldn't make it.

Thanks to everyone who turned out for the Gold Country Lunch today, it was fun having all my Kappa family right in my own backyard. Guess we should of went for ice cream since our Thunder lost in the last period tonight It was almost the perfect day. See you all soon. Barb
One thing we aren't short of in this group is photographers
Great group photo, well sorta - we're missing Irene/Mike and Helga/Joe...other than that we're all there! And I am SURE Ed is smiling behind Judy (you are smiling, Ed, right?)...
Hey, look...there's a helicopter overhead! Looks purched, ready to pounce on us.
What a great time
And Barb, how you let that guy in the Corvette stop and talk to us in Valley Springs I'll never understand... His comment about his car running rough and him shaking a "Saturn Sky" out of the air cleaner was more than I could bear (bare) whatever
Any day that ends with Ice Cream in my book is a Perfect day
Thanks Barb/Ed for organizing
Sonia

Nice shot's Sonia and Fred. That Helo was a little weird. Someone said that the Corvette guy was a retired "smokejumper"...I guess he sucked in a little too much smoke over the years. If his air cleaner looks anything like his car did, he need's to replace it not shake it!
We would do another Gold Country run in the Spring...Nevada City, Rough & Ready, Grass Valley area.
Bill I will be planing a run to celebrate my retirement from the Postal Service.
I think it will be in April, after Ed and Barb come (bake) back from there (cruse) curise. We will be starting here in Auburn. That's all I have planed so far. We keep everyone posted as we get closer to April.

Where is lunch next month?
Napa sounds good for us on March 8th or the 22nd we have no hockey. So Bill the ball is in your court, make a plan!!
