Kappa Count [Didn't see very many on Memorial Day May 26, 2008]

Okay so Ed and I decided to take a little Memorial day drive to the ocean, after 350 miles round trip I have but one question. Where were all the Kappas???? I saw 5-Honda 2000's, 1-Chrysler Crossfire, 9-BMW Z4's, 1-Mazda MX5's, 14-Mazda Miatas, 2-Benz SLK'S, 26 Corvette's, 2 Fiats, and not to mention 2,986,358 freakin Prius's !!!!!!!!!!! So where was everyone this weekend, I couldn't even wave at one of my Kappa family. I did have several people take our picture as we drove by! Go figure. Barb

WOW, you guys were sure close to us! If we had known you wanted to drive to the ocean, we would have stopped cleaning house and climbed in Ebny Sky to meet you! Next time call....duh!

I did the Jalama beach run... I saw one yellow Sky and I think one Sol.

It was awesome weather!

Know what you mean. Even though I wasn't in my Sky this weekend (its still in Chicago), my partner and I drove up to New Hampshire from Boston and not ONE Kappa. Lots of Vettes, couple of VW Eos, BMWs of all sorts, one Honda S2000, couple of Porsches but not one Solstice or Sky. Heck, even in the boon docks of where we stayed, couple of older Camaros, Mustang 5.0s and one Plymouth Prowler.

Will be a rare thing I guess here which is fine by me. Don't like driving what everyone else has.

I like the map on the dash. Like they're going to drive that thing far enough to need a map.

The thing I noticed about that rental is that it didn't have a front plate. This is Calif and front plates are required. Mr. CHP leave our Kappa's alone. If a rental company doesn't need a front plate neither do we.

thats true about the Kappa's being MIA, "1812" called me yesterday before this thread was even posted about the same thing, unfortunatly my car is stuck @ the dealer for a few more days.

Ken & I would of loved to go for a run after the rainy weather and only seeing Solstices (4) in Temecula, We are glad to be back up north. We ended up doing yard work Memorial Day. Call, Email, PM next time for a Recon Run.

Yeah I should of called, I thought you were going to be down south all weekend, at least if I had called you and Ebonysky I would of at least seen another Sky this weekend!!

He actually pulled up alongside of us at a light and I told him when his grew up it would look like our Sky!! He actually laughed and then revved his engine, now that is a funny guy!!

Yeah next time we will call, we just kind of figured everyone would have plans and that we would be the only two with nothing to do but drive 350 miles in search of other Kappa's.
