National Meet in Flagstaff

Fortunately I still own the Sky and I am looking forward to getting active again whenever possible with the Group.

I didn't see where anyone had posted on the Pacific Forum that they are planning on going over to National's from the Bay Area. I'd be interested in joining a caravan like we did in 2009...where has the time gone?

From what I can gather, the proposed dates are Jun 20-23, 2013. Phone number posted for hotel reservations is 928-773-8888 at a rate of $115/night including breakfast for two! Looks like tentative plans include a drive to the Grand Canyon and/or Sedona. Updated/corrected information welcome!

Best to all!

There are also a number of people who are planning on showing up at Flagstaff on Monday or Tuesday and running several cruises prior to the start of the formal event.

That's a sweet drive from Phoenix up to Flagstaff.
Made it many years ago in my old MG-B.
Had to put the top up in Phoenix because it was so hot.
But took it down in Flagstaff because it was alot cooler.

I wonder if Ann would be interested in doing this in Skywalker?
I'll ask her and see what she says...assuming we can find a sitter for the dogs!

*EDIT*
Ann is interested in doing this.
But she wants to take her Yorkie, Shadow.
Meaning I may go as well in the SRT4 with my English Bulldog, Walley-Bubba.
So we will be looking for pet friendly accomodations.

I would love to go, but it's so far to drive my car from NY!! hmm I wonder if there are any train options to cut down the driving miles.

Talk to MM, he ships his sky all the time on the trains, Amtrack I believe he calls it...

Amtrack's AutoTrain runs from the Washington DC area to near Orlando Florida. Specifically, Lorton, VA to Sanford, FL. The last I knew that was the only route offered.
