I don't think Jane and I will be able to make it to Tahoe for the weekend. We will try to make events on Saturday.

Rates :

-----------For a 5 Bed 5 Bath Lake View Townhouse w/ 1 bath in a loft is $455 div. by 5 ( All 2 nighters) or (all 1 nighters) = [b]$91 each Room night[/B
There is only 1 of these and it is on hold TILL JUNE 26th If not taken it is off the West Coast Kappa program.

We do already have rooms blocked off at a group rate at the Lakeland Village Resort in South Lake Tahoe. It's under West Coast Kappa & the price of a Studio Loft is $134 per night 5 booked already

It will go something like this;
Rooms at Lakeland Village.
Maybe dinner Friday night.
Meet in Parking lot of Lakeland Village Saturday morning.
Start our drive.
(this year we might focus on the South Lake area- into Nevada or
Viginia City north lake again)
Stop by and hang out at the Tuner event either before or after lunch.
Dinner WCKCC meeting combo Saturday night.
South Lake Tahoe Strip drive that evening.
(one year we saw the movie Cars together as a group and then hit the Casinos)
Sunday breakfast and optional morning drive before heading home or head home as a group.
These are just GUESSES by me. Jack/De Chief is THE CHIEF on this run. Contact him for the skinny or wait a couple more days for his thread.

I'm not sure what the 1x2Fri. by my name means??? I have reserved a single room at Lakeland Village for both Friday and Saturday nights. Not interested in sharing a room...Sorry. I will be there for dinner Saturday night. Is anyone getting together for dinner Friday night?

The event IS planned. The full details announcement for the WCKCC 2008 Tahoe event went out Sunday to our WCKCC members by email.

We're now opening the registration up to the rest of the folks. The announcement thread is: Tahoe 2008 WCKCC meet June 7 & 8

It's always hard to get all of the details of an event put together, but really, if we put out details a bit at a time, folks raise a stink that we didn't have all of the details in one post. So, we posted the event date in this calendar thread: 2008 WCKCC Events Schedule.

Part of what took some time was setting up the on-line registration for the meet. We also had some substantial work to do to negotiate a good rate at our lodging. Those who have stayed there before know that these are full condominium apartments, and the rates are actually quite good for that caliber of room.

So, let's take the discussion of any Friday night and Sunday activities over to that thread. Tahoe 2008 WCKCC meet June 7 & 8
