possible July 26-27 runs

I have been thinking about a couple of things in lieu of Pt. Arena. If we have a Two day based out of Ukiah. The run up to The Avenue of the Giants is about 2hrs, plenty of photo ops and different sights. Some possibilities are the Willits, Ft. Bragg, Boonville Ukiah loop. Or Hopland to Lakeport around Clear Lake loop with stops at Cache Creek Casino for Lunch. We could do Redwoods one day and the Coast or Lake run the next. Ukiah has plenty of places to stay. If any of this sound good I'll work on prices. For Ice cream we have a new Cold Stone in town. We could have a BBQ at my house Sat nite its a short drive from Ukiah. Grant

Good thinking...

Grant, your post is well taken. I was thinking why do we want to go to Point Arena again myself.

The Willits, Fort Bragg, Boonville, Ukiah loop sounds good to me. Cash Creek Casino is too long a drive from Ukiah. BBQ at your place would be fun too. We could wake that sleepy one Sky town of yours up. That's for sure! Maybe we could ride the train to Ft. Bragg and back. I've never done that. I think they run the Steam engine on selected days, and the deisel on the other days. Let's see what others think.

Sounds good to me, I would like to venture out somewhere we haven't been as a group. Barb and Ed

Make it happen...

Grant, why don't you PM Sonia seeings this is a WCKCC weekend event and see what the 2 of you can do to make this happen. This trip is only a month away and reservations will have to be made.

I'm not in favor of another cruise to Pt. Arena.

Sounds like a great weekend. Jane and I will reserve that weekend.

See Grant, this is why you don't make suggestions. You get put in charge. Any questions ask Barb, that how she was put in charge of organizing so many runs. If you suggest it you plan it and we all show up.

Hope this one happens.

Just a foot note to Shopper Girl. Great shopping in the little town of Mendocino. Will make sure and have a lenghty stop for you to get your fix.
