Roseville Area SKY's Sunday Car Showoff

To any Skys in the Roseville/Sacramento Area:

I have been asked by one of the Saturn of Roseville gals to see if anyone within the area would like to come over to the dealer and set up their SKYS in the service drive area for a Showoff of the SKYS and answer any questions that interested people might have.

They would provide us with refreshments and BBQ while we were there. They would like to start this Sunday April 20th and possible do something similar every Sunday for a few weeks.

If anyone is interested, I could help faciliate the activities. I think we could start off this Sunday from about 11:00 to 2:00 (3 hours).

If anyone knows Kristine from the on-line department, she's the one that asked me to check.

This has been a short notice event, but I think it would be a great way for us to Show Case our SKY's and promote WCKCC.

Saturn of Roseville will be hosting this Show and Shine. They will be having a BBQ for us and also be giving away a $ 100.00 gas card to the best SKY. I don't know who will be judging our cars , but it looks like the judges will be voting for the SKY they like the best. (No pressure here)

If you are interested in a chance of winning free gas for our next run ( $ 100.00 gas card) please come out and join us.

We will be meeting the the Saturn of Roseville dealership between 11:00 and 12:00 on Sunday the 20th of April. And staying until about 3:00 or 4:00.

Please don't make this between just Dave and me for the $ 100.00 of gas.

I just heard from my dealer. As you might know, my car is at the dealer for a trunk issue - tried to open the trunk and one buttress would not release.

The part to fix the buttress release is coming from Saturn and as of about ten minutes ago, the part has not come in. I'm hoping it gets here this afternoon or tomorrow at the latest. Without the part I can not secure the trunk properly - I can close the trunk but if I secure the passenger side buttress without the new part I'll have to pry the buttress up.

So, if my car is fixed I'll meet you in Roseville on Sunday. If it's not, I'll PM or reply on this thread that I'll be a no-show.
