Sep. 27: GM Roadster tune scheduled for Portland [Oregon]

Just wanted to put out there that we have been talking to Martin at GM Roadster and we have scheduled a Tech n' Tune date for Saturday, September 27th.

We have planned a BBQ afterwards the tune.

As of this date, we have the numbers to have Martin and Steven fly out for the tune. If you want to get in on this, either make contact with me, Martin or go to our website: Pacific Northwest Roadsters and RSVP for the event or go directly to GM Roadster and sign up.

Happy trails !

Yeah Baby

My deposit is in. I will be there. Mailing my ECM makes me nervous. Would much rather drive 175 miles to get it don in person. It seems to address all my complaints about the way the car runs. I don't need fast as I can't afford tickets with my job. This should be just the ticket.

I'm there

Really looking forward to this! Two good things happening on the 27th, my grandson's first birthday and the car tune. Forgive me if I don't wait around for the BBQ but if I miss the party (back up North) I'll be in big trouble.

Ok... Newbie here. I'm interested in this event but am wondering what I can expect from this tune on my completely stock 08 Sky Redline. Also, is the price $250 or $50 for the tune. It says 250 until you put it in your cart then it changes to 50. Thanks in advance for the info!

They only require a $50 deposit and that is why the $50 charge. If you get ECM, expect to see $00 added for the cost of the ECM which must be paid in advance.

That website does seem a bit confusing. I think my wife and I are definitely looking into this and just need a bit of clarification before we make a deposit and commit to being there.

For reference, this is our info regarding the tune:

It will be $300 (including deposit) for this tune:

Is this correct?

Thanks!

Yes you are correct in the price of the tune and you have the correct specs. Cannot guarantee the same specs due to humidity, temp, elevation all change but it should be about the same and may be slightly better.

The cost of tune to your ECM is $300. To do the dyno, add $65. the dyno includes 4 pulls. 2 before and 2 after.

Note: At time of placing the order, you only need $50 deposit for the tune. With the remainder being paid when the tune is installed. The dyno must be paid in advance.

Hope this helps with any questions.

I don't think so. We are meeting our car club at PIR for the late night drags and we have a few things to do before we get there.

Had a great time today, and it was great meeting each of you. Looked like everyone had some good gains from tune and the GM guys were amazing! Can't thank them enough for all the insight and advice they gave us, glad they were able to make it out here.

Looking forward to meeting up with you guys again in the future.

Sorry we couldn't make the barbecue. How did it go?

Wow, the tune is amazing

With all the bolt-ons I have (see signature block) my car was performing fairly well although maybe a bit rough. After the tune my car is running smoooooooth and fast MPG appears to be up a couple points as well. Great job guys!

Good Times!!! It was nice meeting everyone that was there. I liked how there were a few persons getting their cars tuned and there were those there just to watch the results, meet local owners and such. It was a nice get together. 8 hrs, on concrete didn't help my calves and feet, but hey, I can't have everything! or can I?

The BBQ afterwards was great. Thanks for supporting the event.
