In Stockton, Ca for 3 months w/ my sky

Hello,

I will be in downtown Stockton, Ca for 3 plus months on business on Sunday, Aug 10th. I have shipped my Baby to be with me - plan on driving back to the East Coast.

I would like to know about any clubs and events nearby.

Hey Tammy,

I am in Orlando so that doesn't help BUT my Best Friend I call my Sister lives in Sonora & goes down to Stockton all the time for shopping etc. If you need some help or someone just to know out that way while you are there let me know & I can give you her number... it's always good to know someone of someone atleast that isn't too many hours away in a bind.

We live about 30 miles east of Stockton. We are members of WCKCC [WEST COAST KAPPA CAR CLUB]. We feel it is the best club in the west. We have a meet in Monterey on Sept 6 & 7. Its called the Cherrie's Jubilee at Laguna Seca. Also the Hope Valley run in Oct. You can go to the Pacific thread to read about it. And you can go back on last years meet to see what we did. We always have a blast getting together. We are a club that takes a lot of pictures. If your interested PM us so we can link up. Barb and Ed [Go Thunda] P.S. our car is named after our hockey team. Stockton Thunder try to make a game while your in town its a lot of fun.

Welcome to the left coast ! GoThunda is right on - the WCKCC is a wonderful club with great people. We usually do something once a month and with the Cherry's Jubilee coming up, that would be a great time to meet the family - the WCKCC family.

Of course. Barb and Ed have been known to do a 'recon' run at the drop of a hat so feel free to get in touch.

Hello Tammy, It's great to have you coming to the west coast. I'd like to welcome you to our State. I'm also member of the WCKCC family. So far we do not have an event scheduled for August. So your arrival will give us a reason to have a meet and great.

Be prepared for warm weather. It should be in the 90's during you stay. Plenty of great top down weather.

In case you couldn't tell Bahwanna Bill is one of our star "characters" in the WCKCC...and along with the other messages you've received, we are happy to have you in our neck of the woods for awhile!

Fred has a great idea about using your stay in Stockton as a reason for us to get together again in August. Once you get settled, maybe you can post a message on what weekend dates would work best for you and I assure you - you'll get a great group of folks driving your direction if only for lunch

Welcome to Ca. We enjoy meeting other Kappa family members and by the end of Aug Ken and I should be vacationed out and ready to get back to our Kappa family. The last 2 weekends of Aug our fine by us. Ken and I also can't wait to see Krypo. We are going to the Sept 6th & 7th run.

Stockton to Los Banos=77 miles. Little over an hour.

So Tamay, I did tell you we have the best club in the west. As my Kappa family members have welcome you. We do put a lot of miles on our cars. Your coming to the best part of the state. Almost center of the state. Within 2 hrs you can go east snow skiing or go west and swim in the ocean during winter.And a lot of great back roads. See you when. ED [Go Thunda]
