Thunder on the lot June 14,15th 2008 (Fathers Day) [So Cal, Palmdale]

Thunder on the Lot: Main event June 15th

Here in the High Desert we have an annual car show and Harley cruise-in called Thunder on the Lot. This year it's the 14 annual event and hands down the largest custom car and bike show in Northern Los Angeles County. It's a charity event presented by Robertson Palmdale Honda and Antelope Valley Harley Davidson supporting children's charities.
MGS Custom Bikes always has a large product display along with a few other local custom builders. ALL vehicles are welcome from full rat rods to imports and from GSXRs to custom choppers. Last year 2000 bikes, 200 cars/trucks attended the event and over 5000 spectators.

This is a VERY family structured event with a kids carnival area, lots of food vendors and things to do all day long.

It would be nice to have a reasonable following of kappas at this event. It's early, but since it's father's day weekend I wanted to get the word out early.

The location is the new Antelope Valley Fair grounds just off the 14 freeway and Avenue H:
2551 West Avenue H, Suite 102
Lancaster, CA 93536

For people who need to sleep over, there are brand new (opening this month) hotels down the street along with more brand new hotels in Palmdale.

We have a High Desert in Northern Cal. also. It is about 30 miles north of Reno on Rt. 395, the largest town is Susanville.

I just didn't want to sound egocentric and say "Antelope Valley", but it is in fact the Antelope Valley.
