WCKCC Fall Run to Hope Valley [Near Lake Tahoe, Carson City, Virgina City, Oct 4-5]

Ed and I just got back from a recon trip to Hope Valley, we were thinking an Oct 4th weekend would be great. We could stay at Sorensen's Resort in the heart of the quaking Aspens Lodging near South Lake Tahoe. Sorensen's Resort near Hope Valley is where to stay near Lake Tahoe., we thought we could take a drive on Saturday over Monitor Pass to Topaz Lake and even over to Virginia city if everyone was game from:Hope Valley, Uninc Alpine County, CA to:Topaz Lake, Uninc Douglas County, NV to:Virginia City, NV to:39.083172,-119.910278 to:Hope Valley, Uninc Alpine County, CA - Google Maps, then swing back around past Lake Tahoe and back to the cabins for a BBQ. Then on Sunday we could head back home going over Ebbett's Pass past some beautiful scenery and Mosquito Lake and Lake Alpine on the way home. More details to follow. So lets see what kind of interest we have because we will need to book reservations NOW, they fill up every year at the resort, they do have 3 house and many cabins of different size. 3 couple per cabin can share the cost. Cool! You are added. I was hoping the Sharks would be out of town so you could make this one. EbonySky I added you to the list as well. I have also booked the Hope Valley House for us for that weekend. If anyone decides they want to join us on this run you will need to call and book a house/cabin soon, they will fill up in the fall, as of yesterday they were already half booked for that weekend. I think we should do house caravan's Friday or Saturday evening either before or after people eat just to see what these different places look like. Nothing like WCKCC family dropping in.... I like to meet and greet the neighbors.

That area during that time of year should be beautiful.

Let's see - that makes July 26-27, September 5-7, and October 4-5. It's getting hard to keep up with all of the planned activities, but I'm not complaining. You guys are great!!!!!
