March 29th RMSSC Cruise
The Rocky Mountain Solstice and Sky Club invites you to enjoy the Mountains in the Spring Time along with the evening activity of the Denver Auto Show, March 29th.
The Cruise Run: will start at the Omni Resort Main parking area, Broomfield Colorado. We will assemble at 10:00 am for talk and begin our journey across the prairie to Coal Creek Canyon (CO 72). On to Black Hawk (Peak to Peak Hwy.) for our turn around and visit to the Lodge Casino to check out the 2009 Meet Casino location. After lunch we will cruise down through Golden Gate Canyon (CO 46) to Golden, Colorado. (Those of you who wish to depart at this point may do so, if you didn't already stay and play longer.) For the evening we will go to the Denver Auto Show. Denver Auto Show From Golden we will go to U.S. 6 into Denver Cross I-25 and then Left on Santa Fe. Santa Fe becomes Kalamath which becomes Stout as it crosses over Speer, turn Left on Speer, cross the trolley tracks and make sure you are in the far right lane on Speer. Enter the parking garage via North-bound Speer Boulevard just after Stout Street and before Champa Street. The Convention Center Parking Garage has its own designated Right Turn deceleration lane leading into the parking garage. Follow into the Convention Center Parking Garage. Show Hours: Saturday March 29 when we get there until we decide to go (it's open till 10pm). Admission: $10/ person Parking: The Colorado Convention Center provides onsite parking. The maximum daily rate to park is $7 for any 8 hour period. I'm interested in seeing the new cars and the vendors that are exhibiting there. I'll take along some of Van's 2009 Meet Vendor Applications too. This also will be a trial run for 2009. Hopefully we will get some push from our dealers about the 2009 Meet. There are plenty of nice places to eat supper in the 16th Street Mall area, one of our favorites is the Cheesecake Factory. But we will consider other places from those of you in the know about downtown Denver.

OK Guys and Gals!
We're eating lunch up at the Lodge with Pirate60 and then push on the the Auto Show. Those of you coming after lunch, we'll look for you on our way down the Golden St Park Canyon Rd. If you meet up with us, we will have only 3 cars going to the show. Let me know so I can keep a look out for you.
If anyone else is coming - Let me know, we have limited parking at the Show! Everyone else - Hope you have a Great Weekend! ![]()

Wow!
What a GREAT TIME!!!!!
We met at the Omni- site of the 2009 North American Solstice Sky Meet; greeted 2 other couples, eathans and rpwillman. Enjoyed the conversation and the Star-bucks. Sun was shining and it was a Tops Down Day! Got out across the prairie (whitefang got the group lost) and Badi-Dea & company called. We all decided to take the drive back to the Omni and meet up with them. That gave us a different beautiful route to the Coal Creek Canyon. The Canyon was gorgeous! Stream just beginning to flow, 2 feet of snow in the Canyon and the bright sun shining over head. The scenery was fantastic and the over views from the Peak to Peak highway were to die for- the sun and the distant snow falling on the peaks was a breathtaking sight. Got to the Lodge Casino and was met by pirate60 and Ron from the Lodge. Enjoyed conversations over the complimentary buffet. Great food & great friends, perfect. pirate50 and rpwillman stayed at the Casino, eathans decided to take a scenic way home and Badi-Dea and us went on to the Denver Auto Show. Boy was it packed. Parking garage full as the streets. With my great ability to get lost again Badi- Dea decide to go off and enjoy each others company on this beautiful day. Finally found the convention center and Solstz06. We owe him and enjoyable afternoon. Thanks for introducing us to Show exhibitors and for keeping the Sol while we were inside the show. Needless to say it was a great show. Nice new cars to see- but would of like to have had the Coupe, but maybe next year. Again a big THANK YOU to all who came and made it a Great Day ![]()
