Salt Lake Roadster May 08 meet

Lunch and Bear Lake Run

Saturday, May 03, 2008, 10:00 am - 5:00 pm
Lets take a ride from Smithfield up into Idaho and back to Logan along the shores of Bear Lake and the twisties of Logan Canyon. Plenty of twisties and beautiful scenery.

We will meet at the Firehouse restaurant in Smithfield for Lunch at 11:30 A.M.. After lunch, we will head north to Franklin Idaho and make a stop at LaTienda (home of the Utah Lottery) for those who would like to purchase some lottery tickets. Then head up Strawberry canyon to Ovid, down the west side of Bear Lake to Garden City, then back down Logan Canyon to Logan.

For all those that live south, we plan on meeting at the Layton Target store on Antelope Drive at 10:00 A.M. and caravan to Logan/Smithfield.

Hey RJ,

Sorry, we won't be able to make it this time. I am working all weekend.

Hopefully next time.

Excellent!!!

We'll post pictures on our website in the next few days.

We had 9 cars, 18 people meet in Layton and drive to Smithfield.

2 other cars (4 more people) joined us there. After an excellent lunch we drove the route with a stop in Idaho for lottery tickets. Bear Lake stop then one more stop for group pictures, then back home. From 10:AM till 5:30 PM was an all day trip.

Lots of fun!
