Telluride Blues Festival

Is anyone here attending the Telluride Blues Festival next weekend? I am driving "Lucy" from Bakersfield, CA to Grand Junction where I am meeting a friend who will drive her 4 wheel drive down to Telluride. I was wondering if anyone here knew anything about parking between those areas... From what I gather there will be very limited parking near Telluride. We are camping in Telluride and will use her SUV to transport all our gear.... Has anyone attended in the past who can share info about if it will be safe to leave my Sky unattended for 4 days??? I am really looking forward to having a great time and don't want to worry about leaving my car stranded in some weird parking lot...

Well I finally got kinda back to normal after my awesome trip to Telluride for the Blues Festival. The drive was great. Lucy handled it like the lady she is. We got lots of looks and stares and smiles and waves as we crossed the Southwest... Most everyone was great... There was an idiot in Primm, NV who decided to swing his car door into the side of Lucy while I was sitting in her talking on the cell phone to my mother... Why don't people pay attention to what they are doing when opening their door next to other cars????? Anyway, she only got a very small scratch (after I wiped away the white paint left by the mini-van...) The rest of the trip was great and I had a really fun time in Telluride for the four days I stayed there. My car was able to stay in the parking lot next to the camp ground where it was well watched. I was able to go to and from it with great ease. The festival was very well planned. There were approximately 8,000 people attending and I didn't notice any problems the entire weekend. I definitely plan to come back next year ....
