Denver West Cruise- hosted by numbbers

Thread Posted by numbers on the Solsticeforum:
Hi Guys! Our May Cruise is fast approaching, so I thought I would get this out to you.
Depart: 10:30 AM. from numbbers house.
1st leg: Santa Fe Drive North to C 470.
C 470 West to Kipling Parkway.
Kipling South to Ute Road.
Ute Road to Deer Creek Canyon Road.
Deer Creek Canyon Road through Deer Creek Canyon (lots of twisties) to Turkey Creek Canyon Road.
Turkey Creek Canyon Road Northeast to Tiny Town.
Driving time at this point about 30 minutes, distance, about 15 miles.
20 Minutes at Tiny Town for photos and potty break.
2nd leg: Turkey Creek Canyon Road Northeast to Hwy 285 North.
Right on Hwy 285 .3 miles to Parmalee Gulch Road.
Left on Parmalee Gulch Road to Indian Hills.
Continue on Parmalee Gulch Road to Lower Bear Creek Road.
Left on Lower Bear Creek Road to Evergreen.
Proceed through town of Evergreen to Evergreen Lake Park.
Driving time for this leg about 30 minutes, distance about 13 miles.
20 Minutes at Evergreen Lake Park for photos and potty break.
At this point, we can either do lunch in Evergreen at the Little Bear Saloon (kind of a biker bar, but famous for booking nationally know blues bands), and some antiqueing, or we can proceed on to leg three.
3rd leg: Lower Bear Creek Road to Red Rocks Park.
Tour Park, with stop at amphitheater for more photos.
Red Rocks Park to town of Morrison.
This third leg is only about 11 miles, but takes another 30 minutes, plus photo time, because the road is very twisty (Read, lots of fun).
If we decided not to do lunch in Evergreen, we can now eat at Tony Rigitonies (we can sit on the deck), and do our antiqueing in Morrison.
End of Tour.
Morrison is located on Hwy C 470, which will take you to I 70 for access back to I 25.
Hope to see you there.
