16-18 Nov '07 -- Tombstone, AZ, Regional Sky and Solstice Meeting

2nd Annual Roadster Reunion
Sky and Solstice Regional Meeting

Tombstone, AZ

16-18 November 2007

In November of 2006, to celebrate the 125th Anniversary of the Gunfight at the OK Corral, a total of eighteen Saturn Skys and Pontiac Solstices from Arizona participated in our first Tombstone Arizona Overnighter. This year, we are expanding the event to a full weekend as a Southwest Regional Fall Sky & Solstice Meet. So, mark your calender for November 16-18, the weekend before Thanksgiving when the Arizona Sky & Solstice clubs invite you to visit the Old West in your New Roadster, for the 2007 Tombstone Roadster Reunion. EVERYONE is invited to participate in this FREE event, either just for the day or for the entire weekend.

For event details, hotel information, and to let us know if you are coming, please visit our Tombstone RSVP page.

SnowBird transportation is available. See the RSVP page.

Juanis received a permit from the Mayor of Tombstone for us to park our cars on the street for the car show portion of this weekend gathering.

Also, last weekend, as a trial run, the Phoenix Sky & Solstice Club visited Mormon Lake Village and got permission to park their cars on the streets of their ghost town. Below is a photo:

It looks like about TWO DOZEN cars have registered so far for the Tombstone weekend. Should be a total blast.

The Trail Riders Inn is entirely SOLD OUT (we have ALL of the rooms in this hotel), but there are still about a dozen rooms left at the Tombstone Motel (which is right next to where we are holding our car show Saturday morning).

We just added a lot more details events to the agenda at:
http://www.tucsonroadsters.com/index...ask=view&id=10

This event is FREE, and open to everyone. Rooms cost $69 per person, less 10% if you mention you are with the GM Roadster Club event.

I wish I was getting back from my deployment sooner or I would be there for this. I will be getting back right after this but I am looking forward to anything else that is planned for the Sky's in Tucson.

A work-related conflicting engagement has come up and I am going to have to cancel out on this one. I have a room reserved at the Trail Riders for Friday and Saturday nights. I will hold off calling the hotel to cancel until tomorrow (Tuesday) in case anyone wants to take that room. If you are interested, PM me here or better yet message me at don21@cox.net.

It is sad that you can't make it. But, I am sure that someone will pick up this room, as several people are staying in other hotels further away. Go ahead and cancel rather than try to hold this. What room number did you have?
