Car Show in Claremore, OK
![]() Seems the weather may cooperate and not rain but only in the 50's so if you out and about or want to show your car come to Claremore ![]() Attached is a flyer for the event. Just FYI at a previous Elk's hosted car show in a different small town I did not have a good time, felt the Elk's were a rude, drinking, kids running amuck and I would NEVER endorse a Elk event again. Well since that bad experience I married a veteran Elk member and just like any organization you have good ones and bad ones each has different members and attitude I am again supporting the car show for the Elk's. Just hope this lodge does not tarnish my new found respect and support. TulsaSky ![]() |

Burr it was Cold
It did not rain but a VERY cold wind out of the North, no sunshine till it was time to leave the show and head home. The Sky's outside temperature reading was 52 degrees for a high, BURR. Our Corvette won a 2nd place trophy and my Sky Zip Nothing. Now the all time best show, fun was the lawn mower races, yes my city folks down here in Oklahoma they pimp out, add extra motors and NOS and race lawn mowers. What a show! The Elk's were wonderful host and we had a good time. ![]() TulsaSky ![]()
