COAST TO COAST for book

I am planning on driving coast to coast to get pictures of your babies and the owners and their stories behind their cars. I am planning on hitting every state within a 6-9 month period. With at least 2 stops at dealerships along the way. I would like to get pics of ALL THE SKY AND SOL OWNERS I CAN to put in the book along with some background information on why etc etc you chose this beauty. I have sent a letter to GM and asked if they are willing to help out with sponsorships for ... example,,, a day of my trip. This is going to be costly and time consuming and I AM UP FOR IT. I love nothing more than to drive and this way.. I CAN MEET SO MANY OF YOU..... Whoever Sponsors a day of my trip or more will get THEIR NAME OR COMPANY NAME ON THE SIDE , HOOD, TRUNK ANYWHERE on my car.. WHAT GREAT ADVERTISING FOR THEM.... I am very excited and if you know anyone who may be willing to HOLD OR SPONSOR A SKY/SOL PARTY AT THEIR DEALERSHIP or a get together at their home, park, etc, please let me know. I would love to meet you, so you might just have to consider coming across the border! I'm sure we could find 12-15+ Kappa's to meet you somewhere like Calgary, and then you could see the Canadian Rockies!

Well SkyBaby, if yah can find someone who is willing to come up with you please make the journey.

As for sponsoring, I'll see if I can find anything. The hardest part is going to be getting all of the Canadian Sky's together in Alberta for the meet. I think I'm the only member on here from Alberta, and there are about 6 Solstices that live in Calgary and frequent the Solstice forums. The best dates for me are anytime after June, since up until then I have school and diploma's. CdnSkyGuy said he would come over to Calgary for a meet though, and drive to Banff. But, if your looking to do it before summer time, any weekend after Easterish! (Since my car comes in April, about mid april I'm expecting it)

As for sponsoring, I have ~$750 from my business that I could use for sponsoring you. Think that would be enough? And no way is my business name dirtying up your Sky!! But, if you like you could join my cult. I have roughly a dozen vehicles around here which carry a Pirate Hooker decal(since I love Pirates of the Caribbean). But, completely up to you, of course.

Wow, I read some of your posts. You are brave. I don't think in this day in age I would feel safe doing any of this. Even on thse forums or coordinating with GM. Are you planning on staying with these people overnight? As I work in the legal system, I would strongly caution against going it alone (in the U.S.). There are many internet predators out there who can put on a great facade and you would never know what their intentions were until it was too late.

Please I beg you to be careful.

SexySky...... I am a very safe woman... I am a Licensed Private Investigator and have been through several law enforcement classes as far as protection. I assure you, I take every precaution BEFORE I would ever set out and... "STAY" with anyone. I will be staying at hotels and with persons I already know along the way. I have a few friends with me at all times. I am sure some of you know them well.... Mr.. Ruger is my fav. anyway... Thank you for your concern and I will be safe. We would love and hope you are planning a stop in dallas/Ft. Worth. I am sure Ernest, Cjsky, Geph, and all of us would love to get together and throw a party for ya and my fiancee and i have a spare bedroom if a hotel is not suffiecient. Anyways i will also see if Ermest and i could get The dealership here in town to help with a leg of your tour. let me know what else i can do to help. Just PM me with anything you need
