hey flower there are plenty of places aound the metroplex that sells plenty of detailing "stuff". i recomend going to any orielleys, autozone, or parts plus and buying anything made by meguire's. thats what we use at the shop and thats the only stuff i would recommend for anybody wanting to keep thier car purty, lol. anyways hope you enjoy the sky and feel free to ask anything or come hang out at one of the car shows we go to.

There is a great group of us here in DFW. Many of us get together at various car shows around the metroplex.

We also do the "laps for charity" events at Texas Motor Speedway twice a year (next one is in September I believe).

Welcome aboard!

I tend to use good old H20 + micro fiber cloth and havent had any problems. The paint on our cars paint holds up pretty good.

Some of us from the SWSC are meeting in Sanger Saturday, to drive twisty 455 across the north side of the metroplex, and are going to end up for lunch at Bel-Airs and Burgers in Princeton.

There is a hotrod/custom resell place next to Belairs and Burgers with some sweet muscle cars and classics for sale we can peruse also. LostHighwayClassicCarsandAntiques

Here's a prelim map. from:Sanger, TX to:FM-455 @33.382900, -96.858010 to:W FM-455 @33.345690, -96.696560 to:W FM-455 @33.345550, -96.592090 to:33.366091,-96.4888 to:princeton, TX - Google Maps

think I'll start a new thread to try and make sure this is noticed. Please forgive the double post.
We're meeting at the Super Save Grocery parking lot at the intersection of 455 and I-35 at 10:30, Saturday morning.

Hope to see some Sky's there!

I live in Coppell and I go to this car wash that will hand wash my car. They will also do complete detailing. I had that done just once to see how they did and it looked great!! I know you are all asking yourself's why I couldn't do this myself???? Well I looked at all the cost of everything I had to buy and my labor and it was cheaper to have them do. I have one guy at this place that works on my car. He told his boss the last time I was in there he is the only that I want to work on my car and he is correct. He does a great job!!

just thought I would add my 2 cents and welcome to the greatest car in the world!!

It is called Coppell Car Wash on old denton tap road. It is right next to a daycare for kidos. They will do a great job!! When I first bought my RL I took into this place and asked the guy if thiscar would clear the track. He said yes but I think I would rather hand wash it. At the same price as taking it thru the car wash. Thats how good these guys are. They truly look out for the car owners.

I promise, you will not be disappointed in their service. If you are please let me know and I will let them know that I am sending them business and they are blowing it!!

Let me know what happens flower.
