February Drive? Oklahoma

If the Oklahoma Sky Gods allow such an event, we don't have ice or snow here is an activity between our two large city's Tulsa and OKC that would be a fun place to meet and greet. This car show is in conjunction with a open house at the college Campus. I have no other information on the car show, cost, door prizes etc.
Anyone else interested?

Big old chicken, I drove Skybaby today, yea it's cold and the top is up but I still love driving the Sky, the roads are clear and the sun is shinning. Big perk to winter driving NO BUGS Wahoo!
One neat thing about the Sky's that heater works very well, Skybaby is warm and toasty a long time before the big old Impala thaws out.
How about Monday Jan. 28th, forecast for 60 degrees in the afternoon, that is Top Down weather!

Can't make Feb. 17th., any other dates in mind before spring? Once spring hit's I'll be spending a lot of weekend time in the Cobra!

Maverick, we (mostly the wife) drive our Sky everyday unless the roads are slick, got about 24,000 miles on it now. Still running great!

Something else to do Feb 17th!

If the Oklahoma Sky Gods allow such an event, I am praying for 81 degrees like yesterday but heck you all know it could be raining/snowing like today. Another activity between our two large city's Tulsa and OKC just a couple miles away from Central Tech at 3 CT Circle in Drumright, OK that is a fun activity to do is:

Tidal School Vineyards
54560 W Highway 16, Drumright, OK 74030
Tidal School Vineyards - Vintage Oklahoma Winery, Vineyards and Event Venue
Yes they are open Sunday 1-5

Feb 17, 2008
Central Tech Car Show 1 - 4p
3 CT Circle
Drumright, OK
Central Tech

Leave the car show at 4:00pm sharp or earlier and visit the Vineyard, the Drumright Museum is closed on Sunday was going to entice everyone with that but never-mind.

Sky Gods are letting me Down!

Mother Nature is a cruel and evil B!#$*
First of the week it was suppose to be a clear and sunny day for Sunday February 17th but unless a miracle happens and it could, here is the official forecast for Sunday:

NOAA Forecast
Sunday: A chance of rain. Mostly cloudy, with a high near 51.
Sunday Night: Mostly cloudy, with a low around 27.

Channel 6 Forecast
Mostly Cloudy with a slight chance of precipitation 20% across far southeastern OK. Highs in the lower to mid 40s. Morning lows in the lower 20s. Northwest wind 10 to 20 mph. Low Sunday night 27.

Channel 8 Forecast
Mostly Cloudy with a slight chance of precipitation 30% across OK. High 48. Morning low 25. Northeast wind 10 to 15 mph. Low Sunday night 27.

Fox 23 Forecast
Mostly Cloudy with a slight chance of precipitation 30% across OK. High 43. Morning low 25. North wind 15 to 20 mph. Low Sunday night 32.

So I could get up Sunday and with a low of 20-25 it could be SNOWING or just that FREEZING rain outside but I have to remember its a 70-80% chance of NO precipitation. I need to leave around 11:30am to make the journey so if the Sky Gods are good the sun may be shinning. Now if NOAA is right a high of 50+ may be able to take the top down but that North wind of 10-20 mph will be cold really cold. So at this point I am still planning on going, but if the conditions worsen or if it's misting sneet Sunday then I am staying home! Rain is one thing but early morning freezing conditions make it a bad Sky day.
Right now I hope Channel 6 is correct the rain will be in the Eastern part of Oklahoma and clear skies over Drumright, OK

Fine I am throwing in the white towel!

Stay home keep warm, dry and safe
We will have days like yesterday afternoon 02/14/2008 when it was 68 degrees and sunshine. This perfect sky weather right before the front from Hell or the great white tundra moved through.

Forecast from NOAA
Sunday: Periods of rain and snow before noon. High near 42. Breezy, with a north northwest wind between 16 and 25 mph. Chance of precipitation is 80%. New precipitation amounts between a tenth and quarter of an inch possible.

Lets hope for a nice day March 1st:
Mars Club Meet and Greet
