MARS Club fun run Friday March 14th

Hey Gang,

It's time to venture back to POPS 66. MARS had a great time at the grand opening event back in the summer, but this time let's take a Moonlight Drive to experience the 66 foot tall Neon Soda Bottle illuminated. As last time, we can meet at the Quik Trip in Catoosa (18 N 193 East Avenue) around 5:30 pm on Friday, March 14, 2008 and venture down Old Route 66, picking up folks at various spots along the way to Arcadia. We can have a bite to eat at POPS, snap some nighttime photos and enjoy a MoonLight Ride home. We've worked hard all week, it's time to play. And what better way to play than in your Rockin' Little Roadster with the top down, enjoying the Moonlight with Family and Friends? Shoot us back an e-mail and let's get ourselves a Convoy......

Bumping this back to the top!

Looks like Mother Nature wants to interfere with the plans.

This is from NOAA:
Friday: A 30 percent chance of showers and thunderstorms. Mostly cloudy, with a high near 62.

Friday Night: A chance of showers and thunderstorms. Mostly cloudy, with a low around 40.

On the Flip side lets all remember its a 70 percent chance of it not raining, and cloudy keeps you from getting sunburned!

I myself TulsaSky will be not going on the run, other commitments.

Notice Moving up Run!!!

Hey Everyone!

Well have you been watching the weather???? Tomorrow is suppose to be a beautiful day, with a high of 78!

They are calling for a 30% chance of rain Friday and only 66 degrees.

SOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!!

We've only had a few people respond to the POPS 66 email, and most of those that have answered are good to go for tomorrow.

If it is only the ones that have responded going we are talking about meeting at:

4:30 at the QT on Admiral and East 193rd(north side of parking lot)

If several others want to go, between now and then, but can't leave that early

LET ME KNOW RIGHT AWAY!!!!

We are still a little flexible on the gathering time.

DON'T WASTE A BEAUTIFUL TOPS DOWN DAY

COME ON OUT AND PLAY!!!!!!

OMG that was FUN!

So I forgot the camera shoot me! But I did make the run from Tulsa to Arcadia, OK to the Pop's Restaurant. Perfect weather really sunshine and 76-73 on the drive to Arcadia. I woosed out and put the top up for the drive home was nippy 65 and no sun & dark. My face either got to much sun or wind not sure today and I am too old to stay up past 10pm was about 11:30pm when I safely parked in the garage, where are those toothpicks to keep the eyelids up today?
MARS is planning more runs and I will post the information and link to website when I get them so come join us and play. Quite the site 2-Sols 1-GXP 1-Sky Redline a Knight Rider Transam and bringing up the rear a red 944 Porsche slowing down and cruising through small town America on old Route 66. Yes we had a lot of people pointing and waving, and I think we saw the Wild Hog motorcycle's club
It's spring all right here in Oklahoma several dead skunks and they had spread chicken liter on the fields on one stretch of the road What a stench. On the way home Knight Rider hit the possum and well somehow he squashed it enough that Spooky Sol and I cleared the kill. Hey this is just the highlights of the drive not all the visiting and stories at the resturant
