Need clear bra info/Dallas

I have traded my Solstice for a Sky and want to have a clear bra installed. Can anyone direct me to a good installer? How much should I expect to pay? Do you recommend one brand over another? Any other information I need to know?

Thanks as always.

I highly recommend going to AutoDesigns.

They did a great job on both my car and on another of our members' Sky.

I had previously gone to another shop which did a terrible job and had to fight to get my money back.

It was about $600 for them to do the full front bumper, the lower front hood, and both side mirrors.

You also might consider having the area just in front of the rear wheels done also. I've already picked up a few bad impact chips there.

Their website is : Auto Designs

They are an official 3M installer.

Thank you for all the info! I will look into them Thursday morning. Thanks for the tip on the area in front of the rear wheel because I would have never thought of having that area done. I can see where that would be a problem now that you have pointed it out.

As far as the lower hood....Are you able to see the line very well where the film stops? I've been *considering* not doing the hood and living with a few chips there as apposed to having a line across the hood....Opinions????

Also, are you able to remove this film after a number of years and replace it???

I have the same deal, but instead of doing the area IN FRONT of the rear wheel, I covered all 3 head lights. With me its the area in front of the rear wheel that has gotton pelted and chipped up, even with the splash guards, behind the rear wheels, nothing, so even tho our tiny splash guards in the rear are almost useless, they have prevented the same kind of chip damage.

Finally, on mine, midnight blue (any dark color) & after almost 2 years with 3M, yes you can plainly see the line across the hood, especially after waxing/polishing, if you don't work it in detail, the stuff accumulates in thar and really high lights the line.. Never the less, I'll take the protection, that have the front end look like the moonscape... Oh, as far as removal, piece of cake, just peel it off like a banana, so I'm told.. But for me, that is still down the line..

PS: I posted awhile back some pictures of the seams, when I have time later I'll see if I can find that thread..
