OMG You won't believe the Graphics&Exhaust !

I still have one more radical thing to do (yes, I will send more pics) but have a look at this...Some will like it and some won't. I did something similar to our 07 and want to be a lil different on the 08 RL. See what you think. Some of you "old" guys will remember "Lake" Pipes. The "Wind Restrictor" folks are awsome. We are so pleased with the product and service. One word "WOW"

The decal is not my cup of tea...but, I will say that it does not interfere with the lines of the car, which is very good.

The side pipes would be WAY COOL if they were functional...hmm, now you got me thinking about functional pipes like that.

Of course the windscreen looks great.

Its hard to improve the looks of this car as it is because it looks so great to begin with. I think the lines of this car are very beautiful and it would be difficult to add accessories without detracting from its natural beauty.

But, you're making a good effort and it is certainly unique which is ALWAYS good. I've been struggling trying to make mine look unique. Its hard...

Hey, does anyone know why GM didn't paint the windshield frame the same color as the rest of the car? I can't think of another car painted like that. Anyone have picks where they painted it to match the car?

Thanks for the comments (both favorable and unfavorable) I really do like the feed-back. Yes, the side pipes are fake, just eye candy. the hood scoop should be installed in 4 more days (its in the paint shop being painted yellow to match) and yes its fake also, again just eye candy. The graphics are just eye candy also. My car goes plenty fast for me. I dont really care for any performance up grades. Some people love them and so do I. I love seeing them on "other peoples" car.So if I am not into making my car faster or louder then whats a guy to do ? Make it look unique. Thats my game. They're 100's of yellow sky out there but only one like mine. I like being different. I've been in only 2 cars shows and have 2 best in show awards. So I assume that must mean that at least a lot of "car nuts" like it ( I am speaking of my last 07 Yellow NA Sky not the 08 RL) Because I am in the "car Business" for over 25 years of buying and selling cars I feel qualified to at least 'somewhat" judge whats other people like. It's what I do for a living. And "Eye Catchers" Sell ! Always have and always will. Believe it or not....Most people "DO" buy with their "Eyes" If it pretty they want it. Geez, this applys to more than just cars....Right Guys??? LOL.
I really do love the feed back. I want more.
Oh, before I forget...Last week I was at a car auction in Dallas, Tx and there was a bright yellow pickup with some wild graphis and lots of chrome went thru lane 2. New car dealers simply held their hand up until someone owned it. Cost was not an object to them. They just wanted it on their lots to make people stop and look. It really works. Car dealers refer to them as "Point Cars" . They park them in the most visible spot on the lot and just wait for the customers to come in. Its doesnt mean that they sell right away. But they do draw in the customers and that the whole point of "eye candy"
"SKY BABY" geez, those lil chicklets are so small that my 56 year old eyes can hardly see them. If they become and eyesore for me I will get Jaymans cutting tourch and cut them off. And the Opel Gt Whip is on the way...Thanks for the advice......I love this place. Thanks again all of you are great "family members"

Even though its not for me, I do like, also, that the graphite color in the decal matches the graphite color of the window frame and the graphite colored piece behind the seats.

Kudos!

Chrysler did the same thing with the Crossfire, Audi with their convertible so its a very common thing and somewhat 'upscale' oriented. I think if it were chrome and not painted it would have taken it quite a bit more upscale but color match to the rest of the vehicle would have been cool too.

As noted before... newbies ask repetitive questions....all european designed colors have silver for their windshield frame....the SKY is EUROPEAN

Won't those pipes interfere with getting your car up on a lift? Keep em polished often, they rust fast!

I'm not usually a big fan of graphics because the graphics are usually pretty lame. Those are probably the sweetest graphics I've ever seen.

They will have to come off to remove the battery!

Still not really my bag, but I do like these graphics more than the others, Clark. I've been waiting to see what you'd do with the RL, and you certainly didn't disappoint!
