TulsaSky,

I may just leave the Cobra in the garage that day & come out with you guys. Let me check with my better half & see if she has anything planned that day. We don't have walkie talkie's though.

Also, I've been going to the IHOP in Owasso Saturday nights about 5:30 - 6:00. Some people have been trying to get a cruise night going. I was there last Saturday with the Cobra & about a dozen cars showed up. Maybe some of the MARS group would come out? Marty & I will be there tomorrow night along with a few other Cobra's.

I'll let you know about the 30th.. About what time would we get back? Got horses to feed & if it's going to be late in the evening, I'll have to find someone else to feed them.

Randy

Hello Randy!

So there is still a cruise-in in Owasso, we will be over Saturday! Since they moved it and the weather got hot we gave up going, now watch it rain this Saturday, AGH! Going to a MG tech session this Saturday near Verdigris/Claremore OK take the Sunbeam and show them a good running British car, wait the would be an oxymoron statement.
I posted the MARS cruise/run but we will be out of town that weekend, going to the Sunbeam Invasion in Tipp City, Ohio, cheating and taking the Corvette the fastest Sunbeam Might e-mail or call Billy and see what time they plan on being back in Tulsa on the 30th. Solcat@mars-cars.com

All the Get Smart cars will be attending the once a year Invasion and tech session, if I was brave and adventurous I would drive my 40 year old car over 725 miles one way to attend, Nope take the fast car! Need to find a really nice small lightweight trailer to haul the old girl to Ohio, but that would cost twice as much in gasoline, at least we are going, bring back some spare parts for that good running British car.

Best laid plans and well bad things happen!

MARS had a plan and a good one but in the meantime a horrible thing has happened and I have not heard from the MARS Club yet but the Restaurant they were stopping at has been identified as a potential hazard, see link:

Look for clip and article from Sunday on the Country Cottage E-coli outbreak, the CDC has not identified positively the restaurant but fingers are pointing. I will keep everyone posted, maybe a fast food restaurant would be better, you just never know when something bad like this will happen.
