Yea i'm etching at this I so want to go but I might not have my sky in time. I'm hoping I do then i can take off. But it's cool seeing someone else in beaumont with a sky I hardly see any around. Maybe we can get a golden triangle sky club going soon.

Update

From CLSOL

Quote:
It looks like most of us would be available on Oct 21st. So mark that on your calendars. I’m going up this weekend to run some possible routes. I hope I can find some good twisties through the woods. If everyone can make it that have shown interest we should have a good mix of Sky’s and Sol’s.

Another Update

From CLSOL

Quote:
I’ve got the route set for the run through the Piney Woods of East Texas.
We will start in Livingston at 9:30 in the morning, Sunday October 21st. We will all meet in the parking lot of Lowes at the SE corner of Hwy 59 and Hwy190. We will finish at my lake house on Taylor Lake in Ace TX. I’m thinking of burgers and dogs on the grill. Let me know if you require any thing else, I may try and accommodate.

Just send me $100. That ought to cover it!

Actually, I don't think he's asking for any money, but I'll check for sure.

Looking forward to seeing you again. Will you be coming to the Rallye in September?

Well, I have my son that weekend. There's no way he'd sit in the car that long and do that with me. I really can't switch either cause I've got other stuff going on during the month. ;-( I'm pissed too because I really wanted to do that one! Ok will I'll write you a check this week for that "$100" and put it in the mail. I gotcha address. ;-)

Thanks!

Ask and you shall receive:

From CLSOL:

Quote:
It is time to make final plans for the run through the Piney Wods of E. TX. I have the route finalized. We will be starting in the Lowe's parking lot, southeast corner of Hwy 59 & 190 in Livingston. The run will be about 2 1/2 hours ending at my lake house in Ace, TX. We will provide burgers and dogs on the grill and cool drinks in the cooler. 'Ritas for Chica in the blender( I'm trying to get off her wanker list). My boss needs to know a count of folks that will be driving with us so she can get the fixin's, so please post or PM confirmation.
Date is October 21!
