I thought that Columbus day was Monday the 9th? Maybe the 7th (Saturday) or 8th (Sunday)? Just a thought.

WOW!!!! When I orginally posted this I didnt really expect much of a response. This is great! Im up for a Columbus Weekend SKY Meet & Greet!

A couple of things to consider. Saturday's, Oct 7, will be pretty packed with college kids and parking will be pretty tough. Sunday's, Oct. 8, usually people clear out of there to head back home so Sunday might be less traffic.

Who's up for Sunday, Oct. 8 SKY Meet & Greet on River Road?

Initially I was thinking bar-b-q'ing at a camp site but maybe eating out some where would be ideal. Also meeting at a particular camp site might not be the best option since they like to charge for parking. So probably meeting at Rudy's or the strip Mall might be ideal.

How about the people coming from San Antonio meet at the AT&T Center off of 35N. It would be a nice place to meet and take some photos. From there it is about a 20 min. straight shot to River Road.

Im soooo excited.....getting the feeling of when I first drove my SKY off of the dealership.

What do you guys think, any feedback?

Kathy & I plan to come, hopefully hook up with Mark & Traci on the way down, plus I will try to get the rest of the DFW Sky people who want to go to meet up here, and head down as a group. It is a straight shot down I35 to there, so maybe we could all meet at the A&T Center. Can you supply a direction or a physical address of location so we can look it up on Mapquest? Mark has been down there recently so he could help withthe navigation, you think? PLeas more info, date, approx time to meet, let see oif we can get this ball a rollin'. If you don't have my phone number PM for it and we will get some plans. Are you interested DFW?

I am flexible on time and date - either Saturday or Sunday is good with me. May be nice to miss the college crowd on Saturday.

I have been on vacation for the past two weeks, so I hope I didn't miss too much.

I am in the San Antonio Metro Area and I just found out two days ago that I am on deck. My Sky is set to be imaged in the next few weeks--possibly this coming week if the allocations work out right.

I doubt I will have it by Columbus Day, but I should have it by Thanksgiving for sure. Maybe a nice Fall Foliage tour through Central Texas would be great in November. Oh wait, we only have two colors...green and brown.

Sorry I can't make the 8th...but still looking forward to seeing all of you sometime.

If you can make it to the Houston area, the Solstice group there usually has a run once a month and they're great people.

I will still be in SA from 10/18 to 10/20. Looks like I'll only have Thursday night available to be free...anyone interested in getting together on Thursday night 10/19 for dinner?
