Sky Sightings in the Southwest

I figure this is probably a snowball's chance in hell of actually finding out who these Skys are, but hey.. maybe it'll encourage them to sign up and say hello if they do stumble upon the site:

Green/tan 2.4 in Garland: In the same parking lot everyday, seeing that Sky on my way to work before I got mine always cheered me up.

Yellow/black 2.0 on 190/PGBT(Plano-ish?): Gentleman in suit driving, we had fun playing cat and mouse for several miles. (Bet that was a sight to see.) Nice colour choice.

Feel free to add your own. It's kinda fun seeing Skys 'in the wild', especially when you're in your Sky and can wave.

Well...there is this crazy red-haired chick in a Yellow R/L that I see from time to time...

There is also a Yellow R/L that I see often parked in the strip mall at Belt Line and McArthur in Coppell, Texas.

And I have seen another Red R/L in Allen twice.

I have no idea what you're talking about.. Absolutely none! And should the police inquire, you never saw anyone with red hair in that car.

I wonder if the RL I saw and the one you mention is one and the same? Could be possible, the territory is close enough.

It certainly could be...though I've never seen anyone actually driving it. It's always just parked there. I assume that he/she must work in that strip somewhere.

...Hey, that might have been me. My parents live in Keller, so I'm over there often. Did it have blacked out badges?

It was dark and about 30 yards away. Also, thought I saw your car in downtown Dallas early last summer. Around Bryan Tower...(Harwood & Federal) I ususally take the train to work, but when I drive I park in the garage there.

What about Austin

In addition to my Midnight Blue RLI have only seen one other - a Black RL over near Lake Travis (Steiner Ranch) development.

Well, if you do ever see it again and you have time, leave a note on my windshield to say hi or hey, the car is dirty or something.

Aside - you work in downtown Dallas? No wonder you take the train. I used to have to commute that direction, and it was constant source of frustration and a huge time waste. Was glad to get a real job in another direction.

Hey BlueDevil,

Was that you in the Sky near the Airport Road exit off the I-35 on Tuesday, March 18th? If I remember correctly, you were turning left on Denson Drive.

I was driving down Airport Road to visit the BofA ATM.

Granted, I'm from California - but I'm in Austin this week on a business trip.

Take care!

Sincerely,

Steve

I've seen the same green/tan Sky here in Garland. My wife drives a black RL from Garland to McKinney everyday.

Been on a Silver Pearl seeing streak lately: one in Allen on Thursday, I waved, but not sure I got a response.

Also, there's a silver one in the Addison area I see off and on, always driven by a lady who never waves back. I promise we don't bite. Wave back sometime.

Also, special hello to the lady in the silver solstice who gave the redhead in the yellow sky a crazy look for having the top down on a cloudy day on 190 a couple of weeks back: yes, I did get rained on. It was great! Car was fine, electronics stayed dry.

Wow, I haven't seen another Sky in Allen in a very long time.

I do see crazy red-heads from time to time though...sometimes even in the rain.

Put up a post on the Fort Worth Roadsters Club web site, it might have been one of them.
