The Metro Sky - Club

A new thread for 2008. I'm sure well have lots of car shows and get togethers this season, along with the two big events at Texas Motor Speedway. If there is anybody that would like to join us at any of the shows and TMS, your are more than welcome. Stay tuned for I'm sure there'll be dates and links posted through-out the year.

I would very much like to become a Member, what are the requirements, other than owning a SKY.

Well:

There is the initation Fee.

The Sky Owner Fee.

The if you would rather own a Soltice Fee (this will cost you double).

The destination Fee.

The Return Fee.

The Participation Fee.

The Routing Fee.

The Go Fee.

The Show Fee.

The Whoohhhhhhhhhhhhhh Fee.


After all your fees are cought up, Then we will talk about the initation.





OR,

Just watch the posts.

If you see and event you can join in on...

...Just come out.

Car Show entries are $10-$25, payable to the show sponser.

TMS is $30 per set, three laps per set.

Kidding aside, we'd love to have you out, though given the distance, our weekend shows probably would be a little tricky for you to make. There are a number of Texans that come up for the TMS events though, and the next one is in May, I believe.

Seeing as i am the official comedian of the group i must say that chris and leann are over stepping their boundaries just a little bit . Here are the real requirements for the club,

laugh at my jokes
listen to chris's exhaust
watch leann drive a stick
get performance advice from ernest
Drink a beer wih SWTSKY
generally hang out with everybody
ohh and can i borrow a microfiber,

You forgot the:

Driving on the track under 80 mph fee

getting stopped at a red light fee

being late for the division of fees fee.

I'll just be getting back from Hawaii that week. I would love to go, just don't think I can make it. I do plan on making The 2008 Solstice/Sky at the Dragon. 2008 Solstice/Sky at the Dragon June 26-29, 2008

Not at this time. Best bet is to follow this thread for up coming car shows and events, plus the BIG annual TMS event. I'm hoping that Texas Redline will put something together this spring for some good driving down by the Guadalupe River.,,,,,,,,,

Hi everyone. I'm new to the forum even though I've had my Sky since September 07. I'm interested in learning more about The Metro Sky Club. This is my first roadster and would love to participate in rallies, events, etc. Looking forward to more info. Thanks.

We live in Oklahoma City and my wife's daughter and son-in-law live in Ft. Worth, so a drive to TMS is no problem. We will be watching this forum for more details.
