"Lucifer" heading to Dallas

May 1st to 10th I will be in the Dallas area with "Lucifer". Last year I made the "TMS Charity Run" and had a most remarkable time. But come May 24th, I will be back in upstate New York.
However I would hope to make at least one get together while in Texas.
Of course I am mainly here to visit relatives but everyone needs to play.

I made it last time but i was stuck behind a chili pepper red that wanted to go only eighty miles an hour and i almost got in trouble becaue in the turns i would get to his doors before i backed off. I COULDN'T BELIEVE SOMEBODY WOULD GO SO SLOW AND RUIN IT FOR THE PEOPLE BEHIND US. SO ALL PEOPLE ATTENDING PLEASE NOTE, IF YOU PLAN ON NOT FLOORING THE CAR STAY AT THE BACK OF THE GROUP ND RUN WITH THE MINIS. SOME OF US DON'T HAVE ALOT OF CASH TO SPEND AND WITH ONLY A CHANCE TO GO AROUND ONCE WE DONT WANT TO FEEL GIPPED. Thats why this year i will be behind CJSky's car so i know i wont be held up.

That's still better than us...on our second run we were behind a group of three Prowlers that were doing 65. We drove faster than that on our way TO the speedway...

(our first run was great though...had it over 115 at one point)

So that all may have a good time, I propose a fast group and a not so fast group. Please make you desired speed known on arrival, no stress. Also, if there are a select few that seem happy with ~75, you get to lead...

...Right behind the pace car.

I don't think you want that...the guy driving our pace car (on the first run) would keep speeding up as long as the rest of us were keeping up. We were third in line and we got to 115 without having to hang-back/speed-up.

By our last lap, the pace car and us were all doing 115. I think he would have even gone faster, but we were starting to encroach on the group ahead.

You don't want the guy behind the pace car enticing the pace car to slow down.

Well, if we get the same pace car driver, then I take back my suggestion. I was remembering last May. On the first go around, Mark and I were in a perfect line right up the pace car's tail. We could not have been tighter. Think we hit a wopping 84 MPH. Pace car just was not going to budge.

I prefer the 100+ crowd myself. Maria likes it up there.

The first time I ran I got to 115mph, last time I was lucky to get it up to 90 mph and that was dropping back and hitting it. For me this past time the pace car was slow and the pickups were laying right beside me

...yeah, it's awesome...nice 6" stainless steel with black powder coating LOOKS GREAT. And the reception is not too bad...can get 106.1 anywhere which is what I listen to...works great, and looks great...I recommend J.C. Whitney...they're a little more pricey than stubbyantenna, but you get a secure site to order from and a great quality antenna.

On our last outing, I WAS on the pace cars a$$ through out the whole run. I think he saw that I was on his a$$ the whole time which in return he keep it only around 100mph. But on the second go-round the pace car noticed that I was the same car from the time before and he looked at the wife (passenger) and challenged us to stay on his a$$. Wife say's, lets go buddy!!!
That being said, LETS GO RACING!!!!!!!!

Now don't get me wrong,,,,,,,,Marklynn 07 is our all time push the pace car leader!!!!!!!!!!
