Chromies Installation

Help.

I just received a set of Chromies for my R/L from Kappasphere and I can't get the plastic ones off, it seems, without breaking them. Anybody got any solutions to this?

Used a pair of pliers’ and pulled the plastic ones off… if you put cloth around it first it wont leave marks… the new ones wiggle until the glue dries then they are hard as a rock. Make sure you wipe the excess glue off once you put them on… leave them alone over night…

try spinning them as you pull. The stud they are glued to has a spiral effect to it, like a screw but the threads aren't nearly as tight.

Forget saving them because you will never get the chromies off with the lock-tight on there. UNSCREW them with a pair of pliers, I needed to bit into them to remove them on my car!

heat them first with a blow dryer then use a set of plyers to turn them...remember they r screwed on...the chromies have no screw, so u must apply the glue and let them set...then they r locked on for life.
