Dealer in Alberta told me 1-2 year delivery if I order today

Hello I am new to this forum and am thinking of getting a new Sky. It started with me wanting a Solstice but after seeing the new Sky all I can say is WOW! So I went to my local dealer in Red Deer Alberta to ask how long would it take to get and he tells me I would go on a list and I was looking at 1-2 years. Is this normal? I can see me putting my name down and getting it next year but 2 years? Can anyone tell me what their dealers are saying for delivery. BTW I want a Yellow Red Line.

There are plenty of threads here that will suggest you can snag one in the states. My assessment is if you don't want to wait 2 years, snagging one is your only option.

I would suggest you to call a dealer in Brampton Ontario and fly there and get the yellow demo automatic they might still have in stock!

I ended up with the Chili Pepper Red One. Black & Red Interior. The more I thought about it the more I wanted a Red Sky. They are a great looking car in every color. The only bad news is I have to fly to the next province to pick it up, but I am looking forward to the drive home.

its looking good! Do they have other choice? Is it a 2008? I wonder if in 2008 we can get a midnight blue with red leather i think ti would look pretty good! You bought my first choice! Here in the belle province all the red has red leather! Enjoy

The other choice was a White Red Line. I prefer the Red and the Red/Black interior looks great. Now I guess I will not have to fly to pick up my car as it is being delivered to my city and should be here early next week. Saves me some hassel, time and money. Bad news is I have to wait...I feel like a kid before Christmas....have'nt been this excited in a long time (Don't tell my wife) I will be sure to post pictures after I get.....just a few more sleeps...just a few more sleeps...

Sorry I have been so busy here at the office...here is a crazy story for you. I delivered a 2004 Canyon to North Battleford for some folks...they had a trade in so I didn't arrange for a ride back home. Well I get about 30 minutes out onto the highway and their trade in dies...I am stranded 3 hours from home and it is +40 degrees celcuis outside and I am wearing a suit...well nobody picks me up for 1.5 hours...then the guy who picked me up just wants to tAke me for drinks becuase I must be oh so thirsty...so I finally yell at him to take me to the airport before I punch him out.

Long story short...Your car is not here anymore so it must be on the way...I was fighting perverts so i did not get a pic of it being loaded onto the truck, I apologize.

Have a good weekend...you will be rollin like a rockstar soon!
