May 2008 - Toronto to Ottawa run
This is the same info as posted on the Solstice forum

OK, I have finally managed to get some details and confirmations.

The run will be on the long weekend (Victoria Day) of May 17th to May 19th

Basic outline:

Saturday May 17th: Get together somewhere in Toronto area and drive to Ottawa.

Sunday May 18th: Meet up with NCR sol/sky club (main contact Bailey) and have a run around Ottawa area.

Monday May 19th: Depart for home.

Accommodation is at the "Country Inn and Suites" in Kanata located on the western outskirts of Ottawa.

Price is $129 (+ taxes) per room per night (based on 2 people per room)

Quote "Sol/Sky Owners Car Club" when phoning.

Some highlights included with accommodation:

Deluxe Breakfast Buffet
High Speed Internet Access
Free Parking

More details (routes etc.) will follow over the next few months as plans unfold.

Of course, anyone else from other parts of the country can make your own way to Ottawa, book the accommodation and join in the run on the Sunday

No firm commitment is needed right now.

The hotel pricing is good until May 01st.

Of course, the sooner you book, the better we will have an idea of final numbers.

Arizona Sky Drivers Heading to Ottawa in May
Hi, We have a Sky Redline 08 chili pepper red. We will be doing a home exchange in Ottawa for the entire month of May. We'd love to touch base with your club when you make the trip to Ottawa from Toronto. We were hoping to make some new Canadian friends. We are driving from Arizona to Ottawa in our SKY. We knew we couldn't spend a whole month without her. We hope we can meet all of you!

You are more than welcome to join us for the meet.

The main run out of Ottawa will be on the Sunday 18th. That is being organized by "Bailey" of the NCR club. I am thinking we will likely have a group get together for dinner & drinks on the Saturday night and/or Sunday night.

Still plenty of time to make a commitment, but to get an idea of numbers, the sooner the better.

So far it is all Sols and no confirmed Skys

The final decision will have to wait till we get closer to the date.

Me thinks Laura and I will join you for the drive up. We will stay at least one night with the group in Ottawa and then we will split off to visit friends in Ottawa and Kingston.

We are looking forward to seeing everyone again.

So that counts in another 07 SKY.

With this weather I can't wait for the run. Pepper comes out this weekend. Tomorrow as a matter of fact. The storage place was great! And a very good deal. I recommend it to anyone looking for next year. I'd love to see the place filled with Sky/Solstice
