NCRRO (Ottawa/Gatineau) Drive July 13

It's that time again to start planning for our next drive......Sunday, July 13

So....here goes. The meet and greet on Sunday morning will start at 9:00 am in the parking lot in front of Place d'Orleans near the Ultramar Station (there's a Tim Horton's less than a block away....so coffee, gas & restrooms are close!). We are planning on leaving around 10:00 Most likely there will be two groups so we’ll need to have leaders and sweepers (certainly Lynn and I will lead one group).....Please let me know if you are interested and/or willing to assist with these roles. There will be detailed maps available and we have 2 sets of radios, but another set as a spare would be welcome. Again I suggest that you'll need a co-pilot as a leader or sweeper.

We are heading for Hawkesbury which is about 1 hr drive on secondary roads near the river. We will stop in Hawkesbury for a coffee break before heading inland and return to Ottawa via more secondary roads which cross the farm lands. The drive will finish around 1:00-1:30 at Garry's house and he has graciously offered to host a BBQ afterwards. (Thanks Garry!!!)

Please let us know if you planning on attending...more so that Garry can prepare for the BBQ.

Looks like there's at least 6-7 confirm and I'm sure that ours with just show up...I'll be send a note to the NCRRO members so the 13th is shaping up to be another "fun run".
