Vancouver BC meet (Jan 6th)

Hello Sky brothers and sisters!

Just wanted to drop by here and mention that some BC members of solsticeforum.com were planning a meet (informal event) for January 6th 2007. We might be able to round up about a dozen Solstii (base and GXP variety) if all goes well, and I'm sure that the Sky's and Sky Redlines would be more than welcome.

Please let us know if you'd like to join us or have any ideas for where/when you'd like to meet on that day. We might even do a mini cruise around town just for fun if someone has a favorite drive they'd like to take.

I'm a "future" but there are a few "owners" around so just give them time to see this. I'd like to show up just to see the different options and colours people have but it's not something I'd spend a Saturday doing without having something to show myself.

Hope you get a good turn out and be sure to post some pictures.

If you could let me know on this forum a time and place my Sky and I would love to come out.There are no Solstice people or Sky people,just Kappa people.

Stay tuned to this thread, we will give you a location and time for the meet. Right now it's a bit up in the air due to all of the problems with Stanley park, so we might have to relocate the starting point.

Also, just to keep you informed, we might be planning a spring/summer cruise up to Whistler (all kappas and kappa fans welcome). We will likely chat about future meets/drives at this meet Jan 6th, and maybe even have a poker run on the trip to Whistler if people are interested.

I'm still trying to figure out this web site; but I am from Windsor (3 hours south of Toronto Ont) and am looking for Sky owners interested in summer road trips in southwest Ontario and the states. Sau Sea P.S Anyone out there getting a hitch to mount bikes and luggage??

We have a solstice club thing that you may want to partake in.
GTA Sols. No dates for 2007 have been set yet.

Over on the Solsticeforum we voted for the location for this meet, since Stanley Park was damaged and things were up in the air for a while. We eventually voted for Whiterock for this first meet. There is ample parking along the waterfront. So here are the details:

When: Saturday Jan 6th 11am-12noon (we'll hang out a bit)

Where: Whiterock, BC parking along the waterfront (pm me if you need directions)

Who's coming: About 9-10 Sol/Sky forum people, and maybe a few more

What else: Possible cruise to a local park, lunch, chat about future meets, cruise to Whistler, poker-run ideas, etc.

P.S. If you have any other Sky or Solstice owners or fans of the cars please invite them to come along, the more the merrier!
