What Sights Do You Love and/or Suggest?

Mike and I will be spending a month in Ottawa in May. We are bringing our Sky Redline 08 with us. We enjoy the "tourist" sites but always enjoy eating, seeing, doing, going places the locals love. We can't find a "rent a local"option in Ottawa. So, what do you suggest if you live in or near Ottawa as things we won't want to miss? Any great roads/drives we should take with the top down.

My 2 cents worth.....

Here also the Bi-way Market on the weekends, Elgin St in the evenings for food and beverage (& not really the college scene) and drive along the river to Merrickville or across the river throught the gatineau hills...there are many secondary highways that would make for interesting drives.
