White Rock SKY Solstice Run - Jan 6 2007

Well how happy am I! I finally was able to see another SKY here in BC, actually two! The first one I test drove and the first Redline that is only 24 hours old!

Our Solstice cousins invited us to a run in White Rock. We started with 14 Kappa Cars and ended with 11 by the time we drove to Crecent Park. We took lots of pictures and had a great time meeting some other owners that are just as crazy about their car as I am about mine.

I think the best feeling was driving behind another SKY. That is way too cool so thanks SKYPILOT for doing the honors.
Center Ice: I took the Redline Pic just for you! Enjoy

Thanks, pal. A white Sky sure stands out against a grey sky, eh?

By the front license plate frame, I take it the Red Line is SaltSpringSky's? BTW, do you happen to know if one of the Solstices (Solsti?) was from Maple Ridge? I see one parked at Valley Fair Mall quite often so the owner must work there. It's Silver Graphite, I believe.

Lucky you guys found a break in the rain, snow, and wind, too!

Thanks for the pic. I'm still in a holding pattern with respect to my putting in a order.

We had a great meet yesterday, considering the weather, time of year, and the difficulties in coordinating so many strangers, it worked out quite well.

I was really pleased to see so many kappas, I think we had 2 or 3 sky's at one point and they are very very rare out here. I was impressed with Saltspringsky's brand new Sky Redline, I own a Sol GXP they are similar cars, but the Sky redline has some unique bits and pieces that sets it off (smoked headlight lenses were HOT!). The skys also had some great performance accessories that we were all drooling over too.

We will ty to keep everyone in touch with you guys and gals for future meets, our "Spring Fling" is still in the works and hopefully we can round up a few more skys for that cruise. Let us know when you get your cars so we can add you to our contact list.

You are welcome! I thought you would have popped by just to see what is out there! The white really did stand out. We had a white Solstice for a while too but I think they must have got lost along the way.

I was really surprised the redline and GXP didn't make more throttle noise. I was expecting them to purr more but I'm sure if they put in a magnaflow in them they will really hum!

The redline is SaltSpringsSky. He had just picked it up the night before so he was excited. As far as anyone for Maple Ridge, I don't know. psycho-squirrel took everyones information so he might know.

I can't wait for our run to Whistler.
I have added a lot more pictures of our run to my gallery so have a look.

I still have a big grin on my face!
