2007 Custom Built Sky for sale! Guaranteed head turner!!

As much as I hate to do this, I am selling my Sky. I will be starting the process soon to get my private pilots license and won't have the time and/or money to keep the Sky. The car was built by Rick Bottom Motorsports in Mendota, IL. He works with GM to build project cars for their promotional events. The car was at SEMA 2007 and many other events. I purchased the car from Rick last fall and have put on about 5,000 miles. The car currently has 12,500 miles. I haven't done any type of racing with the car. I know that Rick entered it in a rally event when he had it and also did a couple 1/4 mile passes. Here is a list of options/modifications on the car:

2.4 liter, 4 cylinder
5 speed transmission

Car makes 325HP at the crank
20" Weld Evo wheels
Dunlop Sport Maxx tires
SSBC Brakes, all around. Slotted rotors
Eibach suspension springs 2" lower than stock
Magnaflow 2.5" Exhaust with quad tips
Full Eclipse entertainment system w/7" touch screen, DVD player, Navigation, Custom built 10" sub enclosure, Component speakers, Back up camera, 6 disc CD changer in the trunk
Dynamat sound deadening throughout car
Custom paint job by Rick Bottom
Custom etched Windrestrictor w/ lights
Lil' Chromies
Stubby chrome antenna

Car is in excellent condition, with no defects. Recently completed the safety recall on the rear differential. Car has also ran Mobil 1 since new and has always had 93 octane in it!

Bump for a professionally built Sky.....This isn't one of those "raggedy" built cars. Rick did an excellent job with fit and finish. PM me for details!

flying is expensive. Unless your going to pursue it as a profession (I wouldnt advise of that), its probably license you will never use.

Owning a custom Sky isn't exactly "cheap!" I am going to join a flying club, which isn't as expensive as you might think. We are only on this earth once.....I want to experience as much as I can while I am here!!

I agree with you..... I know when I seen the car all I was thinking was.. WOW.... how gorgeous.... you should bring her by again just so I can drool for a few more minutes.... maybe do a pic or two.... I admire you with the Pilots Lic... Brian is just about done with his and we just got a hanger out in Dixon... he flew her there tonigth from Ogle Co airport.... It is a great experience and if I wasnt a chicken I would do it... maybe down the road when we get a Cessna I may... but not in a Kolb..... BEST WISHES.... SkyBaby

Go for the Lic, flying is something only people that fly can understand. I've had my
Lic since 1979 when I retired from the Navy and never sorry about getting it. Of course
it was a lot cheaper to get back then then now. Flying club is the way to go.
Best of luck to you and I wish I had the cash to buy your car right now, but I am about
a year away. Just joined the forum to get info about the Redline Sky.

THANKS!! The car is still for sale, although I'm not trying real hard until springtime. I put it in storage about 3 weeks ago. Going to be a LONG winter!!!
