Do Not Buy From This Guy

All,

Please beware that you may not receive your product if you buy from Saab9-3. I bought a CAI for my RL 2 weeks ago and it has yet showed up at my door. He is shipping the CAI from Manitoba to Ontario, there is no border patrol or custom to clear and I don't believe it would take 2 weeks. His excuse was that the shipping label has water damage....well, at least that was what he said and of course, I haven't seen the damage yet.

He will have a few more items for sale from what I understand. I am not stopping anyone of you to buy from him, but do remember to buy at your own risk.

are you dumb?

the item shipped out on the 22nd a week ago and i gave you the tracking number.

if you need more information call them and give them the information i gave you and ask them whats the hold up, i'm not your mother i'm not going to do it for you, the item is shipped out and everything on my end is complete, i am not canada post and i am not liable for there delays. if you didn't want to deal with an online purchase go and pay a premium at a local store otherwise delays should be expected with shipping companies

I looked up the tracking number and see the item shipped as he said on the 22nd. I think you owe someone an apology for knee jurking and smearing his name

Dear BlueSkyRL,

Did you not see the stated delivery date was on June 26th, 2008? Did you see the status showing it was delivered? Where is the CAI now? Not in my car for sure, maybe it is on the mail truck. I suggest you to look carefully next time before running your mouth (or fingers in this case).

Dear saab9-3,

I don't mind if you refuse to sell me anything from this point onward. I don't even care if anyone on the board refuses to sell me anything. All I care about right now is the arrival of the CAI which I was supposed to have received on June 26th. I paid you instantly as I promised and I appreciated your communication. However, if the CAI isn't here, it isn't here. I have sent and received exhaust, CAI, springs to/from Manitoba, Sask, BC before and never took this long. I know you are not happy with what I said, but I am only reacting to my virtual CAI.

BTW, calling someone dumb isn't going to get you anywhere. In respond to what you said about you aren't my mother, all I can say is that, thank goodness you aren't, otherwise I would rather be an orphan than mothered by you. My part of the transaction was completed as promptly as you requested, you are not delivering your side of the bargain, MOTHER!!!

Dear All,

I know you are less than happy with my responses to these members. If you want to ban me from the board, feel free, I can always come back on as someone else.

This is why I use FedEx, insure everything and take pictures before it leaves.

I had a young guy asking me why I sent him a broken part that left here in perfect contidion well packed. I took pics before I packed it. When he called me back after weeks of having the product asking why it was broken. I simply showed/sent him the picture of it in the box undamaged. Never heard a word back.

I hate scammers.

I have a problem right now with the Wooddashexperts.com.

They are going to get a serious right up if my kit is not here on the date promised. They aready charged me twice for my kit and said it was how they return things even though I asked for a return two weeks ago and a replacement be sent out. They decided not to send me a return lable, but instead charge my account for another kit. WTF!?!

I was on the phone with them yelling and griping. They had me go out an sent off the kit back to them, before they would refund my money. My question is why did they not do this after repeated requests in the prior two weeks? So we will see if this charge drops off. If it does not they are going to get a write up on all 30 car forums I am a member ship with.

But be ware now because what they show on the site does not look like what you get. I wanted black Carbon Fiber Real CF. They sent me Silver tight weave CF and said it was the black. I did not want the tight weave and I did not want silver so be wary of this company.

If he shipped it and provided you a tracking number, what do you want him to do? Drive the delivery truck to you himself?

The fact that it states "Item accepted at the Post Office" on June 22nd at 4:30 in the afternoon... and "Item processed at postal facility" on June 23rd at 2:30 pm.

That shows it has been received by the postal service.

Now... let's just say it was going from one of the farthest places in Manitoba... Flin Flon, MB... and going all the way to Ottawa. I don't know the exact locations, so this is just an example. It is 34 hours *Just under 1800 miles* driving straight through. So if it left the postal facility on the 23rd, which it looks like it did... it probably was not driven straight to the ending point depot. It probably is transferred at 1 or 2 places on it's way between Provinces. I would expect it Monday or Tuesday.

Your problem should be with Canada Post... not SAAB 9-3

A seller, especially an individual, has no control after he delivers it to the shipper.

Just alittle FYI
I import golf clubs out of China to Toronto & that takes 13 days to get to my house. The clubs are sent & arrive in Vancouver & then go to Abbotsford (most times). I have a tracking number sent to me & follow it. At times I look at the number on Canada Post & it tells me that my package is in Abbostsford & when I get home the tag is on my door. Canada Post is very slow on there posting (tracking) sight. A bit of over reaction here, BUT, Manitoba to Ontario 2 weeks. That is like Buffalo to Chicago. I am sure it will arrive. Why would he scam you, when there is a site like this involved?
IMHO

Yea, I just have to say it doesn't sound like the guy is trying to scam you. If he was why would he still be on here defending himself? What would be the point if he was scamming you?

I think you should ease off and give it another week. Your going to look real stupid if it shows up soon and you've already popped your top on these forums like an ass. Just saying...like you said you can always register a new account and start fresh again then no one will be the wiser for it.

That tracking number just gives a projected delivery date and it doesn't say whether that is to your door or to the US postal service odds are it is in the united states at this time.

Let put it this way, you all seem to have an opinion one way or another and I respect that. My frustration is that Mr. Saab9-3 used an expedited service and it is still arriving in slow motion. I will apologize to Saab9-3 for calling him a scammer if the CAI shows up at my front door by Wednesday.

I personally am not interested in anyone's shipping experience, I can careless if it takes a month for you to receive your order, I only want my CAI that I have paid for.

Let me get this straight:

Fact: Saab9-3 used an expedited service which, according to the data provided, is indeed true. Submitted on the day noted by Saab9-3, with tracking information. Tracking information identifies the package as still with the carrier one day beyond the expected delivery business day.

Conclusion: The expedited service is currently one day late, therefore Saab9-3 must be a scammer.

I just wont sell to this guy anymore, and I would suggest everyone else not sell to him as well, this whole process has been a headache.

I don't understand why he hasn't called Canada post to ask what the hold up is, I mean he has all the information so why wouldn't he just call himself and ask.

Instead of making a two minute phone call he comes on the forums to waste hours of his time arguing.......

I also checked with shipping dates, etc... I send alot to canada and get stuff from there and it does take a while longer than US addys ship and receive from. If it says shipped.... it is not Saab9-3 issue.. it is the shipping service... sometimes there are things out of EVERYONES control and no name calling is going to help..... SkyBaby

Okay - the package was mailed - we get that.
BUT the only thing showing is the acceptance and processing at Winnipeg.
It does not show that it has even left Winnipeg - rocessing does not necessarily mean that it has been sent to the next location.
There should be more information listed as to status by this point.

I do feel that senna174 was hasty here in his posts but he did not call saab9-3 a "scammer" on this thread.
I also feel that saab9-3 is also hasty in washing his hands of the sale.
The combination of saab9-3 saying it is out of his hands & senna174's impatience have caused this result.
In other words - IMO - both parties are guilty to a point here.

Speaking as someone who is both a seller and buyer of items:
This situation should involve both parties contacting Canada Post since both have a mutual interest as seller and buyer.
It is unreasonable for saab9-3 to say that he is no longer responsible once he handed the package over to the post office.
These two should attempt to work in unison here to get information & resolution from Canada Post.

But I must point out one more thing-
nobody has asked exactly how & when payment was made for this item in comparison to the posted shipping date.
How long it took the seller to ship the item is something else that also should be looked at here.

From those of you who think one day late is acceptable, well, good for you. You have better tolerance than I do. Perhpas Saab9-3 can tell us how long it took me to send the fund via paypal, 5 minutes from when we agreed on price. maybe six? Paypal payment was made on June 13th and he promised me to have it shipped/picked up by the Sunday, June 15 and it didn't happen. He then told me there is water damage to the shipping label a week later and therefore, Canada post had to resend it and this time he would use an expedited service. OK, my thoughts were, why didn't he use it before? Did he even send it out the first time? Remember, I am not having it shipped from Manitoba to the US then back to Ontario, it is coming from Manitoba to Ontario. Therefore, some of your experiences about shipping with Canada Post to the US shouldn't be used as a comparison in this case.

I am not an unreasonable person, but I am indeed in need for this CAI.

To Saab9-3,

1. It is ok for you not to sell to me again, I am quite happy with your decision.
2. It is also OK for the rest of the members not to sell anything to me, I am happy with that too. I don't know them and they don't know me. One thing for sure was that I do pay promptly as you know and well aware.
3. Good job for telling everyone that they have nothing better to do but to waste their time on this.
4. You seem to have forgotten one thing - I don't have the CAI and you don't have the CAI, or you may. You said you have sent the CAI, which no one has any proof of, why don't you give me a believable reason like before, water damaged the shipping label. Canada Post uses SAP for tracking and once packages are scanned, it can still be delivered, even if the label has water damaged.

Imho..............................

Both of you.................

GROW UP !!!!!

Senna.................... RELAX !!!! I'm sure it will show up. SAAB has the tracking numbers to show that it was sent. He can't DRIVE THE MAIL TRUCK !!!!!! Contact the postal service with the tracking numbers. As for you're calling him out on the forum, I think that it would have been better to wait a little longer to see if the CAI showed up. Or waiting until you've checked with the postal service.

SAAB................. Let's not resort to name-calling and/or derogatory remarks. Don't sink to Senna's level.

Unfortunately, all you both have done is show that perhaps you're not very nice people.

I hope that you all are going to kiss and make up.

jnag698, what level exactly are you referring to? How am I supposed to agree with you when you started to attack me? Why don't you grow up with us?

All, like I said, I only want my CAI. If Canada Post made a mistake, I will apologize to Saab. However, I can't just sit here waiting and waiting.
