Wanted Base sky

Alright, i know i might get flamed, but i saw a sky sell for 20,099.00 on ebay and it was in cali. it was in el segundo and i talked to the guy. he said that if it didnt sell on ebay he would sell it to me for 20k the next day. i couldnt get to the computer in time though and it ended up selling for 20,099.00 i can give the link if someone wants it too. So i wanted to see if anyone else has something else in that price range for sale???? i know that the cheapest are the base models with no options, and i would love to get the redline, but i just dont have enough for that. anyone know where i can get a cheap sky?

thanks everyone.

I would keep an eye on eBay as well as other places like Autotrader.

also try calling around to different dealerships. My dealer up here in N. cali had 4 used sky's on the lot the last time I was there. He picked them up at auction to sell to people who didn't want to wait on the list for a new one.

you never know what you might find.

You can't escape the dreaded taxes in your home state. Taxes are paid locally where you register the car.

yep, I think in Cali we call it a "use tax" thats levied when u register an out of state vehicle. I believe I read somewhere that the tax is waived if you have owned the car more than 9 months. sounds like this is in place to keep people from buying cars across state lines just to avoid the tax. And with the 9 month thing in place, they won't tax those that are moving here and bringing the cars they already own with them.

so your gonna get taxed one way or the other.
