Saturn SKY vehicles/parts For Sale/WantedPlace for MEMBERS to post want to buy or vehicles for sale. NO COMMERCIAL POSTING, no PROMOTION OF VEHICLES OR ITEMS YOU DO NOT PERSONALLY OWN.
Hi all. 1st post!!!! I am ending my very bad relationship with my '03 Cobra and going a different route this time. I need a less expensive and more reliable car so the Sky Redline looks like a good choice. I'm in Phoenix, AZ and am willing to travel a few hundred miles in all directions to make a purchase. This means southern California, Vegas, Albuquerque are ok.
I need an automatic and am looking for under 50k miles. My budget is about $17k. Preferred color is anything but silver, although silver seems to be very popular so it may work if nothing else is available. I will have cash in hand. I will be ready to buy in 2 weeks after my current car is gone for good.
Lemme know what you got! I can only get 1 PM here so please email me or reply here- use PM
Thanks!!!

So close and yet so far! If you change your mind and want a 5 speed with just over 50k (new engine has less than 12k). And it's available RIGHT NOW! I'd even meet your 17k price. I'd even be willing to deliver!
I just listed mine today and it is exactly what you are looking for. I am asking a bit more than what you say you are looking for... but hey... make me an offer.
search auto/truck category of craigslist.com with Phoenix as the city/area, by owner, and enter Saturn SKY. You will find some to choose from there, or change the city/area to those you choose. There are often choices with less than 50K miles.
I don't know what happened to my reply, but it's not here.
I almost had newmsy1's Sky but someone offered more over the weekend while I was gone. So close!!!!!!!
So my search continues. Does anyone in the Phoenix area have a bluestone colored Sky or any other bluestone colored Saturn? I'd really like to see one in person.
I just got back in town and have been searching like a madman!!
Any other leads would be great.
Jay

We have a bluestone in the group but she's not selling as far as I know.

It's an '08, black with red interior, black top, 25k miles. GMPP tune. Original owner car. I can't get out there to pick the car up for 13 more days which will probably feel like a year to me. I'm just glad I found one that wasn't too far away after the first one got away from me. I will definitely get to know the car on my 600 mile drive home.
The only thing I have planned now is to paint the brake calipers red and get the windows tinted. I'm sure I'll get the urge to do more just like I have done with all my other cars.

Sounds like fun, I will absolutely give it my best shot. My work schedule is generally not very accommodating though. I work nights and weekends so I unfortunately miss out on a lot. Now if there's an event on Weds or Thurs at 1am, then I'll be sure to be there. LOL!

Yeah, OK
Good luck with that

I drove the car home 600 miles last night. The first hour was nice then I started feeling a bit cramped, then my butt started going numb, my ankles got sore and my back started bugging me. I just couldn't get comfortable. I must be getting old. Today I drove the car some more and adjusted the seat some more. I don't think I'll be going on any long road trips. What I noticed was that there seemed to be a lot of lumbar support in the seat which I think was causing me some issues. There are a lot of little quirks about the car that I learned in my journey, but I'm not here to complain today. I'm just glad I found a very clean well maintained, low mileage car that I can call my own. One question though...the biggest issue is the driver's side blind spot with the roof up. Is there any trick to seeing that area other than sticking the weird blind spot little mirror on the side view mirror?
The car drove perfectly and I averaged 28.8 mpg which I thought was pretty impressive. Here's some pics.

Don't you love that red and black interior? It looks great in the black Sky! I like it in my white one, but at first I didn't when I was just seeing it in photos. It is much more appealing in real life!
I have those funny little mirrors ... mine were there from the previous owner and I've just left them - hey they meet the need, so no complaints here!
