Actually I was refering to the post directly above me. Couldn't make any sense out of it. I live only 30 min from Blueridge Parkway and ride it a lot on my Harley... love it.

Notice my "name" (Blueridge Sky)... gives definate notice of my favorite place. I lived in south Fla 19 years and finally got tired of nothing but flat... straight roads. Glad to be back in the land of twisties... perfect domain for R/L that is on order... can't wait...

Understand now - was afraid you thought my avatar fit your name since it's "Blue Ridge Sky". My husband and I ride the parkway as much as we can. We ride Hondas - black Valkyrie and red VTX. In fact, going to take a make a long loop around the Outer Banks and then back down the parkway on the bikes the week after next.

I'm thinking the parkway will the first place I'll go with the Sky if and when I finally get it

Excellent choice for "first ride".

My wife and I both have Harleys and ride there every chance we get. We usually ride it from Big Island north to Roanoke, VA. There are some awsome views and great twisties, especially near the Peaks of Otter. Can't wait 'till SKY gets here..... maybe we will meet you guys some day when we both finally get our rides...
