Hallet Race Track - Oklahoma

http://www.hallettracing.net/

Check out the COMMA, seems it’s the sports car fun around the track time!

So anyone in Oklahoma interested in this may be the only legal way to Red line the redline

I have been to the Corinthian Vintage Cars which is scheduled March 30th - April 1st 07 this year, as a spectator, that is a hoot to watch all the old cars.

The Z club of Dallas (Datsun/Nissan) rents out Hallett at least once a year. They are always looking for extras to join them. Good group of guys/gals. In case you have never done a DE event (road course), be sure to look into all that is required, as these events are a lot harder on the car than autocrossing or drag racing.

At the very least, you will be required to change out your brake fluid for one with a much higher boiling point. Trust me. If you have an automatic, do some searching to see if a fluid cooler would be necessary.

Its some extra work and hassle, but the experience is well worth it. It is one of those things you HAVE to do at least once before you die. Amazing.

OH, and Hallett is a fantastic road course.

+1 !

I go to Hallet once a year and enjoy how technical it is. It is much more fun to drive than MMP in Tennessee.
