SEIBON may be a good company to talk to as they make pretty much anything carbon fiber.

seibon doesnt actually make anything. .they copy anything..

so when someone comes out with a really expensive hardtop, seibon will make a cheap replica

That's the only one I think looks good so far. Just wish there was a way to see a different angle.

i think the only way a hardtop would look good is if it was designed exactly like the soft top. it compliments the car's design really well, and very few other designs would have the same effect.

i think something that would replace the trunk lid like the elda, with some other type of trunk lid that can open with the hard top in place would be a great idea.

I wouldn't mind if it was a permanent type hard top with a targa top.

I would really like to see a top that has a rear hatch back, or smooth with no hatch. Something like the corvette. The one in the photos doesn't look bad at all. I just can't get into the edag top. Sorry edag, I know you were trying to help us out, I just don't want to turn my sports car into a wagon.

If I did a hard top, I would want something like a coupe top. No hatchback, no station wagon, etc. IMO they disrupt the lines of the car too much.

Something else that might be interesting would be a targa - I guess that would one up the wind screens.

I've been trying to push them into making one, but they think b/c of the factory support for the Solstice there aren't going to be many of us wanting to race our Sky's. The company is Autoform Group out of Holland, MI. If you guys are serious about it give them a call at: 616-392-4909. I'd be willing to loan them my Sky for a few months to get it made.

My wife and I really like the SKY, we are not sure about buying it due to the lack of a hardtop option. I live near Seattle, WA and yes..it rains a ton here. Softop cars driven on a regular basis over time often develop fungus in the softtop material, then gets saturated and moister startes to develope in the car and you get mold spores...this is even true in cars parked in a garage over night..I want a hard top for our rainy season, the soft top for the rest of the year. I know of a number of people in the northwest that will not buy a soft top only car. Tell your friend to test market it in the Seattle / Bellevue washington area!!!

I just emailed them. I hope we can get enough interest. I love the different look for the winter not to mention the wear and tear of my fabric top from all the snow and ice!
