Can you verify that these numbers are accurate? If so, that is very interesting.

I plan on Auto X soon, just need to find a crowd to tag along with and get pointers. I'm used to an AWD car for Auto X.

I read those threads last year. What I am trying to determine is the factual accuracy of those numbers. Heck, I bought a Saner front bar, and STILL am not sure exactly what the rate is, except it is about 40-50% stiffer. Stiffer than what is the question.

Guess I will contact Eibach and see what they can offer as far as specifics.

Are you sure about the rear bar dimensions? Haven't crawled under my RL to check, but I thought that the rear bar is bigger than the FE2 bar. BTW, where did you find the data? I would like to do some data mining as well.

As sure as anything else found on the web. Remember, the stock bars are hollow and Eibachs are solid, so even thinner bars would be a higher rate. -J

Understood. But the attachment shows the same 24 mm for the rear FE2 and FE3 bars, and both are hollow.

p.s. This is the only picture I know of from the 2008 Nationals. And this might be the last one in SCCA "stock" trim. No body mods are planned for Street Prepared, but under the skin it will change. Unseen is the Evolution Driving School sticker on the windshield that says, in part, "Now I Suck Less", and that fits. This year 28th of 58 (I think) vs. 38 of 60 last year. Stemler, a Bozster, and the infestation of S2000's were FAST !!!! The shopping list for SP is not too long, but will transform the car. I can't wait.

Well, that clears up the rear bar dimension issue - the FE3 rear bar is 1.2 mm bigger than the FE2. Given the HUGE increase in the front bar (up from 27.5 to 33.2mm) I have a better understanding why the GXP/RL is a bit pushy. I just can't wait for a bigger rear bar (among other things).
