Huge Tires

Just received my Falken Azenis RT615 tires. I already had acquired a second set of wheels. These puppies are 275/35s and they look huge compared to the stock wheels It also appears that the car will be more than a little bit lower with them on. So, I'll be ready to do battle on 8 July at our next event at the Sierra Vista airport.

Btw, I would appreciate any input on tire pressures from anyone with experience with these RT615s.

WOW, interesting, I lived out thar when I was in da Army, Ft. Huachuca, Az.. Worked in classified destruction until I got shipped back out to Germany--

BTW, never volunteer to take fuel pods, or water pods to the fire fighters just to get out of those payday parades.. 1StSgt said, "yea, you drive up there, drop off the pods, & you drive the deuce back that night"--Yea right, 3 weeks later, I finally got back to base after driving fire fighters up & down the mountains for 3 weeks--Next time, take the parade--

Huge Tires part 2. Closing in on the next event, and I still have not had anyone give me any hints as to the pressure I need to run.
I would be grateful for any information.

Ok. Pictures will be forthcoming. The event is over and the beast was awesome! The tires provided grip that rivaled the R compounds on the guys in the open classes. Out of a field of 11 on various forms of street tires, I placed 1st, both raw time and after the PAX factor (handicapping) was figured in. I was so fast that no mere mortal could possibly have matched me. Therefore the fact that 6 or 7 guys had faster times is absolute proof that outer space aliens are living among us. All in all, great time, great tires and really great car.

I am running the same tires but on 18x10 wheels. I'm thinking about switching to 295s in the rear soon though @ 35psi

Sorry for the delay, but here are photos of Bayonet with both the oem tires and the RT615s (wider and lower) Note the soda can to show how much lower the beast sits on the RT615s.

Hey, hard for you to see the cones when you can't see over the dashboard!

Looks good with the fatties. Speedo error should be on the safe side right? You'll be going slower than the speedo says...I think.

Absolutely! I understand the real hot shoes are running 295/30 Hooziers on the stock rims with no problems.

Yes I do, but the one in the photo is my technical adviser (also happens to be my grandson).
