Laptop mount
Does anyone know a way to mount a laptop in the car for doing OBDII logging. And still be legal for AutoX? I have been thinking of some kind of obscure duct tape/zip tie solution, but i didnt know if anyone had a better idea.

A Palm Pilot or Pocket PC would be easier to deal with than a laptop. You may also have issues with the hard drive in the laptop being disrupted by the vibration and g-forces.

A company named RAM Mounts has mounts for just about anything. Their web site is www.ram-mount.com .
Their laptop mount uses the two front mounting bolts for the passenger seat to bolt two of the three legs of the mount in the car. I hope this helps. Bill
